Reggie Miller takes offense at Josh Hart deliberately ‘pouring gasoline’ with viral ‘F**k you’ chants at MSG
Reggie Miller was not impressed with the New York Knicks' Josh Hart's antiques during Game 2 between the Knicks and the Pacers.
Josh Hart and Reggie Miller
The New York Knicks and their fans despise the former Indiana Pacers and NBA star, Reggie Miller over the years in the NBA. Interestingly, during the Knicks vs Pacers game in the NBA Playoffs, Miller was working as an analyst at Madison Square Garden. However, the Knicks fans chanted “F**k you Reggie” when he was working as an analyst. Also, the Knicks’ Josh Hart went over to Miller to remind him of what the fans were chanting,
Notably, Reggie Miller recently opened up on the Mark Jackson Show that he was not a big fan of the antiques let out by Hart on the court towards him. Miller also claimed that Hart poured gasoline on the matter that had already escalated at the MSG. In addition, Miller had the last chuckle as the Pacers went on to eliminate the Knicks in Game 7 of that series.
This is why I can’t stand the Knicks. Because, to be the frontrunners, they think they are God’s gift to basketball. Fine, you can think that all you want. But don’t frontrun when you guys are up, and then you guys want to talk stuff because the whole game was great, where gasoline was poured on it, is when Josh came over to me. I don’t think there was anything malicious, I think he was trying to be funny, but it was an open mic.On the Mark Jackson Show, Reggie Miller said
It remains to be seen now whether or not Hart addresses this issue with Miller in person or in public or chooses to ignore this situation. One common factor between the Knicks fans and Miller is that they both hate each other equally, and it is very evident.
Reggie Miller put Knicks fans in their place with savage Instagram post
In Game 7 of the NBA playoffs, the Indiana Pacers sent the Knicks, led by Jalen Brunson, packing. Reggie Miller, a legendary player for the Pacers in the past, appeared to be most pleased with this outcome as he even made fun of the Knicks fans and their players on social media.
When the series CHANGED!! Jalen Brunson you’re a true BALLER, been the best player in these playoffs, but you and your boys can all heal up together on some beautiful beaches in Cancun, please enjoy!!Reggie Miller wrote on Instagram
On the contrary, in the fourth quarter of Game 5 of the 1994 Eastern Conference Finals against the Knicks, Miller scored 25 points. As a result, his team, the Pacers, were able to overturn a double-digit deficit and win the series 3-2. Hence, Miller’s hate towards the Knicks’ fans and players is very much understandable.
