One superstar who has met bitter ends throughout his career is Rey Mysterio. The man in question has been through a lot since the initial days of his WWE stint, facing several betrayals from his closest allies. Recently, in an interview, the Master of the 619 broke his silence on his friends, turned foe, and teased turning heel.
Speaking with Bleacher Report, the legendary Luchador stated that he has no explanation behind why people turn their backs on him. However, he admitted that it was because of his “chill” attitude. Mysterio also pointed out that he ends up trusting the wrong guys. However, he has no idea how long he will be able to take it, and there is a possibility that he might vent his frustrations one day.
I'm just so chill. I'm so relaxed. I can't change that character I've been for so many years, my whole life. I always end up trusting the wrong people and that's my problem. Maybe one day I'll just snap and go crazy.Rey Mysterio
Rey Mysterio has a long list of stars who have betrayed him. In fact, not only friends but even family members have also been the Judas to the Master of 619. The most recent betrayal was from his long-time friend Carlito. The two stars have been involved in a back-and-forth heated feud since the revelation.
The WWE Hall of Famer has never been an antagonist. Therefore, it will be interesting to see such a turn of events. However, the chances of that happening are very low, as the star is seemingly close to hanging up his boots.
Rey Mysterio calls for a PLE in Mexico
Rey Mysterio has been representing his country for a long time. His Latino heritage has been an integral part of his identity throughout his career. However, before retiring, the Legendary Luchador has demanded that WWE host a PLE in his home country of Mexico.

Speaking with Bleacher Report, the Master of the 619 stated that he has a request for WWE to host a PLE in Mexico in the next three years. He even suggested the Estadio Azteca as the stadium, which can hold a large crowd. In addition to that, he heavily praised the crowd in Mexico for being such avid fans of wrestling.
I’m hoping that it happens within the next three years. I think my people deserve something as good as a PLE, I’m truly hoping. We have a huge stadium over there, Estadio Azteca, which I believe is being remodeled and should be done sometime next year.Rey Mysterio
WWE hosted a PLE in Puerto Rico last year, which ended up being a great success. The crowd was hot, and it certainly inspired the WWE to have more events in the region. Therefore, a PLE in Mexico has a high possibility, with WWE hosting every PLE outside of North America in the near future.
