WWE has a long history of being involved in the video game industry. Apart from releasing its own line of games for nearly two decades, the franchise has formed cross-over partnerships with other games like Brawlhalla. The promotion recently announced a collaboration with Call of Duty, which will now feature skins for popular WWE superstars like Rhea Ripley.

Activision, the publisher of Call of Duty, released a trailer for Call of Duty: Season 5 that featured The Eradicator taking center stage. Shortly after the trailer was released, Rhea Ripley took to X and re-posted the announcement. She captioned the post with her iconic dialogue, saying that Mami was always on top.

The official Call of Duty account later announced that Cody Rhodes and Rey Mysterio would also be a part of the new season. Players can use these operators in both Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Warzone. The trailer also showcased various WWE finishers being used as execution moves in the game. These included the Cross Rhodes, the Punt Kick, and the Leg Drop. The new season will also feature a special WWE-styled game mode.

The developers of another first-person shooter, Rainbow: Six Siege, brought Ripley’s likeness to their game as well. The former Women’s World Champion was also on the cover of the WWE 2K24 Deluxe Edition alongside Bianca Belair. 

WWE personality Sam Roberts believes Dominik Mysterio will betray Rhea Ripley at SummerSlam and join forces with Liv Morgan

Rhea Ripley is set to face Liv Morgan for the Women’s World Championship at SummerSlam. The feud has grown incredibly personal between the two. The Eradicator has even promised to end the 30-year-old’s career at the Biggest Party of the Summer. However, popular WWE personality Sam Roberts believes that this is not how things will go down.

Speaking on his show, Notsam Wrestling, Roberts claimed that there was a strong possibility of Dominik Mysterio betraying his Mami to side with Liv Morgan. This would eventually cause a split in The Judgment Day. The World Tag Team Champions, Finn Balor and JD McDonagh, would also join the Queen of Extreme. Meanwhile, Damian Priest would continue to stay with the Australian.

Roberts also predicted that Priest would lose his World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam. This would make the rest of The Judgment Day look at them as losers. This possibility would further the storyline between The Archer of Infamy and Balor. WWE has teased some tension between these two members of the faction for nearly a year.
