As WWE continues to leverage its transfer window to facilitate easy trade of superstars across Raw and SmackDown, some of the names have actually switched brands. Last night on SmackDown, GM Nick Aldis introduced Damian Priest as the blue brand’s newest acquisition. Reacting to it, Rhea Ripley took to X. And she got emotional.

Mami, hailing Priest as her best friend, called him inseparable. The Women’s World Champion reminisced about their humble beginnings on the main roster, where both broke off as major stars while being in The Judgment Day. Rhea couldn’t have had it any other way than labeling Damian as one of her biggest supporters.

At last, the 28-year-old Aussie said that even though she doesn’t want to let Priest go, she’s also excited for his new ventures. The Archer of Infamy didn’t take long to come up with a wholesome reply for his “Terror Twin.” He mentioned how he would’ve never made it this far without Ripley by her side. Damian called his sister the greatest and vowed to always have her back.

Priest’s first night as a member of the SmackDown roster went exactly the way he would’ve envisioned. First, he beat an outspoken Carmelo Hayes fair-and-square. While exiting, the former World Heavyweight Champion shared a moment with Matthew McConaughey at ringside. Later, as the erstwhile Judgment Day member was walking backstage, he ran into Cody Rhodes.

The American Nightmare welcomed his former rival with a big smile. After Rhodes went away, Priest quipped that they’d cross paths soon. With Priest swapping brands, he’s done with Finn Balor and the rest of The Judgment Day, it seems. Balor succumbed to Damian in an epic Street Fight on Raw a couple of weeks ago.

Eventually, a six-woman tag team match was made official. Ripley and Stratton were joined by Bianca Belair to oppose Liv Morgan, Nia Jax, and Candice LeRae. The babyfaces ended up losing as Morgan pinned Belair to get the win for her team. Even though Rhea’s squad had to bite the bullet, Mami wasn’t the one to fall for it.

She’s just a few days into her second reign as the women’s world title holder. And as per a recent report from Fightful, WWE has discussed a massive WrestleMania showdown for her. She’s likely to face Bianca Belair.
