The Terror Twins, Rhea Ripley, and Damian Priest were recently part of a live Fanatics event that took place shortly after the Bad Blood PLE. The event featured the two superstars, joined by Big E on the panel, auctioning off various WWE memorabilia.
During the panel, the superstars were auctioning one of Jey Uso’s iconic blue glasses. Rhea Ripley wrote the words ‘Mami’ on the glasses and revealed a shocking detail about them. She said that she had worn the glasses on her way to the event. Furthermore, they had been in her cleavage since then. This remark received a hoot from the crowd and the rest of the panel reacted hilariously as well.
The Intercontinental Champion was also seen supporting the Eradicator during her Women’s World Championship match against Liv Morgan at Bad Blood, which featured Dominik Mysterio locked in a shark cage suspended above the ring. Uso was spotted in the crowd alongside Ripley’s alleged ex, Cathy Kelley, both cheering on the Australian as she fought to reclaim her title.
Jey Uso is one of the biggest merchandise sellers for the WWE. He has been trending on the WWEShop since breaking off as a singles superstar. However, his merch really took off after WWE launched ‘Yeet’ shirts following his drunk Fastlane press conference with Cody Rhodes.
Since then, he has broken several records for merchandise sales. His merch will definitely continue to sell like hotcakes if Ripley continues to employ such tactics.
Bill Apter criticises Rhea Ripley’s decision at Bad Blood during her match against Liv Morgan
Despite Rhea Ripley winning her match against Liv Morgan, she was unable to reclaim the Women’s World Championship at Bad Blood due to the victory coming as a result of a disqualification. Wrestling veteran Bill Apter recently commented on the match and heavily criticized the 27-year-old’s actions during it.
During the match, Ripley had Liv Morgan knocked out in the center of the ring. Rather than going for the pinfall, she told the referee that she had unfinished business with Mysterio. The referee allowed her to exit the ring. He also did not count her out as she laid a brutal kendo stick attack on the Latino superstar. This sequence eventually led to Raquel Rodriguez making her return to WWE and costing Ripley her shot at the title.
Speaking on Sportskeeda’s Bad Blood Review, Apter reprimanded Ripley’s decision not to go after the title when she almost had it won. He understood that she was frustrated with Mysterio, but she was there at Bad Blood to win back the title instead of getting vengeance.
