This week’s Raw was all about the return of Rhea Ripley to where she belongs. After a thunderous appearance last week, some firecrackers were expected this week. Mami kicked off the show with a stern promo that was later interrupted by Dominik Mysterio, who was on a mission to make up with The Eradicator.
As the former Women’s World Champion was addressing her situation with Dirty Dom, she was abruptly cut short by Liv Morgan. The latter was backstage and continued to poke the bear. A cranked-up Rhea Ripley lashed out at Daddio. She went on to challenge the 30-year-old for the Women’s World Championship at SummerSlam. In fact, she vowed to end Morgan’s career at the show.
The Women’s World Champion was trying to get under the skin of Ripley. The Eradicator made sure she had her mind cleared before SummerSlam. Mami pledged that she had been waiting for this match for the last three months. Therefore, when she gets her hands on Morgan, she is going to destroy her and ensure that it will be the last match of her career.
On the other hand, Mysterio tried to fix his relationship with Ripley. The 27-year-old failed miserably, as Mami was in no mood to hear anything after the shenanigans of Morgan. Besides, the Women’s World Champion looks confident heading into her match against The Judgment Day member. She has continued her advancements on Raw even after the return of the Australian Superstar.
Rhea Ripley tried to reclaim her position in The Judgment Day
Rhea Ripley was absent for over three months. During this time, her group faced major threats and changes, including capturing the World Tag Team Championships and the addition of Carlito. Mami, with all her might, walked her way into the clubhouse to get answers for all of this.
JD McDonagh and Finn Balor tried to explain to her that Liv Morgan helped her win the World Tag Team Championships. The Eradicator looked nonchalant with that as she told Balor and JD that she was happy that the titles were back in The Judgment Day. Meanwhile, Dominik Mysterio again tried to patch things up with the former Women’s World Champion, as he went on to call her ‘his Mami’.
Later on, the Australian superstar made it clear to Mysterio that she didn’t belong to anyone. Moreover, she also questioned the presence of Carlito in the group while Jey Uso tried to ‘mingle up’ with Mami. Overall, things have become interesting on Monday Night Raw. With so many stories intertwined, it is turning out to be captivating to see how things will pan out for The Judgment Day from here on.
