Ric Flair‘s retirement is a long-running joke in the wrestling community. No matter how many times he steps away from the ring, he somehow always seems to come back. Flair recently once again talked about having another match inside the squared circle. Bronson Reed took matters into his own hands and threatened the WWE Hall of Famer to keep him out of the ring.

Flair responded to Reed’s threats with a photo of himself, in which he looked quite bulked up and had a great physique. In the caption, Flair said that he would not be returning to the ring. However, he still took a shot at the Australian and put him down.

Of course, the 36-year-old is not one to take anything lying down and shot back at the Hall of Famer himself. Reed also uploaded an edited image in which Ric Flair can be seen lying in the ring while Reed is floating in the air, ready to hit him with a Tsunami.

Flair was first retired by Shawn Michaels in 2008 following their match in 2008 at WrestleMania 24. The two superstars put in arguably the best match of the card and had a highly emotional ending to their bout. Backstage rumors suggest that the 16x World Champion did not wish to retire at this point and was forced by Vince McMahon. Thus, he went to TNA to wrestle again.

Flair said in 2012, after his TNA run, that he would never wrestle again. However, he came back yet again and even hosted an entire PPV-themed around his retirement. He teamed up with his son-in-law, Andrade El Idolo, to face Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal. The 75-year-old later admitted that he passed out twice during this match and had no idea what was going on.

Bronson Reed provides an update on his injury

Bronson Reed is currently on the shelf due to a serious injury. Reports stated that he may have suffered a broken ankle. However, the Aussie recently detailed the gruesome extent of his injury. Not only did he miss the first episode of Raw on Netflix, but he will also be out for the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania 41.

Bronson Reed recently provided fans with an update regarding his injury. He posted a photo of his injured leg as he lay on his couch and watched TV. His medical team had removed the cast from his leg, and he was now being made to wear a boot. While he still cannot put any weight on this leg, things seem to be going in a positive direction.

The Auszilla had suffered this injury at Survivor Series: WarGames when he joined the Solo Sikoa-led Bloodline. Reed climbed to the top of the cage and wanted to deliver a Tsunami onto Roman Reigns, who was lying on a table. At the very last moment, CM Punk pulled Reigns away, and the Aussie went crashing through the table on his own. He suffered an injury during this stunt and has been off WWE programming ever since.
