Bron Breakker continued to make life a living hell for Ricochet and Ilja Dragunov on the latest episode of Raw. He launched an attack on the two backstage. The 2-time NXT Champion threw the high-flyer into a production truck, and power slammed him into a windshield. This resulted in his fiancé, Samantha Irvin, breaking down on live TV.

Samantha Irvin seemed absolutely distraught as her future husband was being beaten down by the former NXT Champion. Paramedics later carried him away on a stretcher and loaded him into the back of the ambulance. Dragunov also stood next to the ambulance.

Irvin was bawling her eyes out, looking at the condition of her future husband. In response, The Highlight of the Night gave his fiancé a thumbs up to tell her he was fine. However, his condition said otherwise. She requested that the paramedics allow her into the ambulance with them. They obliged, and the 35-year-old hopped into the vehicle to accompany Ricochet to the hospital.

News has been spreading over the past week that the former Intercontinental champion has declined to re-sign with the company. Taking this into consideration, WWE wanted to write him off TV and remove him from any storylines in an appropriate way. Thus, he was removed as WWE Speed Champion and is not expected to appear on WWE TV any longer. 

Is Ricochet’s fiancé, Samantha Irvin, leaving the WWE?

With Ricochet on his way out of the company, many wondered what this meant for his fiancé. She has garnered a lot of praise from fans and other superstars alike for her role as the RAW ring announcer. It would be a huge upset if both of them walked away from WWE.

Although Irvin’s contract details are not public as of yet, she is expected to continue with her role on WWE TV even if her fiancé is set to leave the company. On the other hand, Will Ospreay is supposedly luring the former United States Champion to AEW. The Jacksonville-based promotion is expected to be his home in the upcoming years.

Although working for different companies may be tough, they will not be the first to do so. There are several instances of wrestling couples where one partner is working in WWE while the other is an employee of AEW. Some notable examples include Rhea Ripley and Buddy Murphy, and Zelina Vega and Malakai Black.
