While it’s uncertain which two teams in the league will face off in the Super Bowl game, next February, the half-time show has already been confirmed. The Super Bowl LIX will feature the prominent American rapper, Kendrick Lamar in the halftime show. 

The Super Bowl is known to be one of the biggest sports events in the United States, and over time, many prominent artists perform on the grand stage during halftime of the game. While speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Rihanna, who performed at Super Bowl LVII, gave her candid reaction to Lamar’s headlining Super Bowl LIX halftime show.

Believing it was meant to be, Rihanna expressed her support for the 17-time Grammy winner saying he truly deserved this honor and would rock the show.

It’s a diamond on a ring finger, honey. It’s meant to be. It’s Kendrick Lamar! Kendrick Lamar is the one that’s supposed to do it right now. He’s gonna crush it. We should never doubt him… He deserves it. I cannot wait to see it. Kendrick, thank you.
