Valorant looks on a bring eSports scenario ahead!

The Valorant Champions Tour 2022 ended with a LOUD bang and now Riot is all set to make major changes on its eSports circuit. As teased initially, the publishers have finally unveiled the 30 teams that have become official Valorant partners.

The FPS game recently got the 5.06 patch update but fans didn’t see any major additions in the game. Its probably because Riot had other plans in mind as it focuses on making a more competitive eSports scenario by taking some teams that will be kept under official partnership.

Before pulling the curtains on Valorant Champions Tour (VCT), Riot Games had announced that they will be picking up teams for official partnership to shape their eSports circuit in a better way. After much anticipation, these teams were finally announced by the officials for America, EMEA and Pacific division.

Other teams will be added to the list in near future as Riot Games plans to host Ascension tournament for the teams who failed to make it to the franchise league this year. Carefully keeping in mind certain parameters, such as teams creating strong connection with fans, the developers chose the following teams.

America

  • Sentinels
  • Cloud9
  • NRG
  • KRU Esports
  • Leviatán
  • LOUD
  • FURIA
  • MIBR
  • 100 Thieves
  • Evil Geniuses

Prominent teams such as Optic Gaming, TSM and G2 Esports were unfortunately not able to get the slot but the teams remain hopeful for a better competitive season ahead and making it to the official franchise of Valorant.

Riot Games is also working on the development of Valorant Mobile as a few screenshots of a private teasing in Google Play Store got leaked on social media. Mobile players would increase the player base which would simultaneously increase the competitive structure.
