Rob Gronkowski wants the Jacksonville Jaguars to dial in Bill Belichick. The legendary head coach has been without an NFL coaching job for almost 10 months.
Gronkowski picked the Jaguars as Belichick’s next coaching gig because of their precarious position in the league, which has led to the exit rumors of Doug Pederson. Although Pederson isn’t ready to entertain any such rumor even after losing eight straight games, dating back to last December.
The Jags currently remain the only franchise without a win in 2024, and judging by their trajectory coupled with the daunting schedule, it might be a long time before they win a game. Gronkowski believes this is the right moment for Jaguars owner Shad Khan and general manager Trent Baalke to contact Bill Belichick.
The retired all-pro tight end insisted that Belichick would not turn down an offer made to him even if he has been busy with his analyst gig and exploration of social media.

Why does Rob Gronkowski believe that Bill Belichick will agree to coach the Jacksonville Jaguars?
It’s a complicated situation in Jacksonville. They have a good set of veteran and young players with a quarterback once thought of as a generational talent in Trevor Lawrence.
Lawrence showed promise in his first two seasons, reaching the playoffs once and almost last season. Yet, the horrible recent results have made the Duval lose patience with the 24-year-old and Doug Pederson. From Gronkowski’s perspective, hiring Bill Belichick right now will benefit the Jaguars, as they are familiar with his style of play.
However, Sports Illustrated’s John Shipley revealed that Baalke isn’t ready to talk about any coaching replacements. The Jags’ front office contacted Shipley via email.
The Jaguars have three winnable fixtures on paper. First, they play the Indianapolis Colts this weekend, followed by the Chicago Bears and the New England Patriots.
