Rob Van Dam teases WrestleMania 41 appearance (via WWE)
WrestleMania 41 is just four months away. With Royal Rumble right around the corner, the WWE Universe will soon be on the road to WrestleMania. The Showcase of the Immortals is always filled with several special appearances from wrestling legends, and it appears that Rob Van Dam wants to be one of them.
Speaking on his 1 Of a Kind podcast, Rob Van Dam mentioned that he happens to live in Las Vegas, the host of the next WrestleMania. Furthermore, night 2 of the event takes place on April 20th (420 Day). The Hall of Famer then insinuated that he might show up at the biggest show of the year with weed in his possession.
Van Dam was supposedly going to be a part of WrestleMania XL last year as well. After all, the show took place in Philadelphia. The city is known for its ties to ECW, a promotion RVD was a huge part of. However, the high-flyer believes that he was snubbed from the show’s plans because of his affiliation and appearances for AEW.
If I understand right, I think I’ve heard that WrestleMania is on 4/20 this year. I happen to live in Las Vegas. You never know. I got weed.

RVD’s love for weed is nothing new. In fact, several wrestlers have openly admitted to consuming marijuana. The 54-year-old has faced a lot of controversy and issues in his life due to his love for the devil’s lettuce. He has even been arrested alongside Sabu for possession of marijuana in the past.
Rob Van Dam reacts to Travis Scott smoking a blunt on Raw Netflix
The inaugural episode of Raw on Netflix was one of the biggest episodes of the red brand in history. The episode featured a lot of huge names such as Hulk Hogan, The Rock, and John Cena. It also featured mainstream celebrities like Travis Scott.
Scott was seen alongside Jey Uso as the latter made his entrance to the ring through the crowd. He was scheduled to have a match against Drew McIntyre. However, during the entrance, the American rapper was visibly seen smoking a blunt on camera as he walked down the arena steps. During the same podcast, RVD opined that this was super cool to him. In fact, he wondered what came next.
That’s awesome that in 2025 that Travis Scott was smoking a blunt on Monday Night RAW. I think that’s super cool. Who knows what’s coming next?

This incident is what gave RVD the idea to bring weed to WrestleMania in the first place. Now, some reports have suggested that WWE officials had no idea Scott was going to be smoking during this entrance. Otherwise, there is a high likelihood that this never would have happened. Thus, it is highly unlikely that the former WWE Champion would be able to carry out his goal.
