Barcelona forward Robert Lewandowski heaped praise on teammate and 17-year-old club prodigy Lamine Yamal, for his impressive rise over the past two seasons. The veteran striker boldly claimed that Yamal is the best winger in the world.
Lamine Yamal has successfully established himself as one of the best young forwards in the world, over the past year. He most recently broke the record for being the youngest player to ever feature, score, and win the Euros, leading Spain to the title.
He has also been a revelation for Barcelona, after making it through the ranks of the La Masia academy, and has made more than 50 appearances for the senior side. The 17-year-old forward has already recorded ten goal contributions this season.
It is no surprise that Lamine Yamal’s teammates adore him, including veteran Robert Lewandowski. Moreover, he also advised the young forward to be strong throughout his career and not pay heed to criticism directed towards him.

Under manager Hansi Flick, Yamal has been entrusted with a new starting role and has risen to the expectations of the German manager and the fans alike. Meanwhile, Lewandowski has also earned praise for his recent performances, with Flick labeling him as the ‘best striker in the world’.
Robert Lewandowski continues his excellent form with match-winning goal against Getafe
Polish forward Robert Lewandowski has been in excellent goal-scoring form, after striking the match-winning goal in a 1-0 victory over Getafe. The 36-year-old forward has been on a resurgence, also reuniting with former Bayern manager Hansi Flick, this season.
Lewandowski has returned to form after experiencing subpar goal-scoring form for the past two seasons. As such, he has scored nine goals and provided two assists in ten matches this season. He most recently scored a goal against Getafe, helping the Blaugrana win the match against their rivals.
Moreover, the 36-year-old center-forward has been helped by wingers Lamine Yamal and Raphinha in the attack. They have led Barcelona to the top of the La Liga table this season, winning all their first seven matches and scoring 23 goals against their opponents.
