Roger Penske invites $100 million worth ex-team owner Chip Ganassi back to NASCAR
Team Penske Racing owner Roger Penske has shared his interest in seeing Chip Ganassi back in NASCAR Cup series.

Established in 1989, for a long-time Chip Ganassi was one of the stalwarts in the NASCAR history. They have fielded machines for stock car racing legends such as the likes of Martin Truex Jr., Kurt Busch and Sterling Marlin. But the team finally left NASCAR, to focus on their operations in the IndyCar and other series’ by selling their assets to Trackhouse Racing.
With the Next-Gen changing the sport and making it cheaper, the reigning champions team oner Roger Penske has invited Chip Ganassi back. His revelation came while talking about the teams overall impressive 2024 season, and the disappointment from the IndyCar series as they lost the title to Ganassi’s team.
He highlighted how impressive the performance from Ganassi’s team was and hailed his contribution towards the team. Penske revealed that he told Ganassi to comeback to NASCAR as it has gotten easier for them.
