Roman Reigns breaks silence after assaulting CM Punk and Seth Rollins (via WWE)
Roman Reigns was last seen in WWE during the Men’s Royal Rumble. He was eliminated from the match by CM Punk, who continued to have a heated confrontation with him. Furthermore, he was hit by a double stomp by Seth Rollins on the outside of the ring. Thus, he decided that the latest episode of Raw was the perfect opportunity to make his return and get revenge on both these former world champions.
Roman Reigns penned an Instagram post shortly after his appearance on the latest episode of Raw went off the air. He posted a photo alongside Paul Heyman in front of the sign of Madison Square Garden, the venue for the latest episode of Monday Night Raw. The 39-year-old also asserted himself as the greatest box office attraction in all of WWE history.

The main event of Raw featured a steel cage match between the Best in the World and The Visionary. Reigns showed up out of nowhere and dragged Rollins out of the ring, accidentally making him win the match as he escaped the cage. However, the latter had no time to celebrate as he immediately got hit by a Superman punch. The OTC continued to wreak havoc, landing a spear on Punk.
Reigns has now been advertised for two episodes of SmackDown during the promotion’s European tour. These shows will give fans a dive into the psyche of the OTC and his thought process behind this recent attack. Furthermore, Punk or Rollins could show up during these episodes to build to a potential triple threat match for WrestleMania.
WWE analyst Sam Roberts speculates how CM Punk will use his favor with Paul Heyman against Roman Reigns
CM Punk joined the OG Bloodline team at Survivor Series: WarGames. Of course, the Straight Edge Superstar is no fan of the Samoans. Thus, he only did so to get a favor from Paul Heyman. Nobody yet knows what this favor entails. However, Sam Roberts has an interesting theory.
Speaking on his podcast, Notsam Wrestling, Roberts said that the reported triple threat match between these superstars looks increasingly likely. This is when the Chicago native could cash in his favor and utilize Paul Heyman’s services for that night. Rather than being in Reigns’ corner like he usually is, the Hall of Famer has to be in Punk’s corner for the entire bout.
What if CM Punk’s favor is that he gets Paul Heyman’s services for a night? What if he calls on Heyman for WrestleMania? What if it’s a Triple Threat between Roman, Punk, and Rollins, but Heyman has to be on CM Punk’s corner?

This was even slightly teased after the main event of Raw. Heyman was seen helping Punk to his feet inside the cage. However, Reigns did not like this, so he separated the two and sent the Second City Saint crashing into the cage walls twice before hitting him with a spear.
