Roman Reigns addresses CM Punk joining the OG Bloodline [via- WWE]
On last week’s SmackDown episode, Roman Reigns and The OG Bloodline received a surprise in the form of Paul Heyman. Not only that, Heyman returned to help his Tribal Chief by introducing CM Punk as the fifth member of the team. Despite their differences, Punk and Reigns will have to stand side-by-side at Survivor Series: WarGames. Days away from the event, Reigns finally broke silence on teaming with The Second City Saint.
During an interview with Jimmy Traina of Sports Illustrated, Reigns stated that he was “blessed” to share the ring with his family. In addition to that, The OTC highlighted the outsiders: Sami Zayn, Heyman, and Punk. While he has grown fond of the former duo, Reigns was surprised to see Punk involved in Bloodline business.
Following the segment on SmackDown, Punk and Reigns had an enthralling faceoff. The latter asked Punk why he joined his team. In response, the former AEW wrestler alluded to helping his mentor and friend, Paul Heyman. Later on social media, Punk seemingly revealed that he sided with the OG Bloodline just to fight inside WarGames.
And then Punk is like this crazy. How did this even happen? Who are you here with? What I mean, like, checking the guest list… hold on, how did you get in here?

CM Punk will team with Reigns, Zayn, and The Usos to take on Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Bronson Reed, and the Tongans at Survivor Series. Interestingly, this will mark The Straight Edge Superstar’s first time competing in a WarGames match. Prior to their showdown, Punk and Reigns will address their animosity on the upcoming episode of SmackDown.

With the stakes at an all-time high for Roman Reigns, he will hope to finally put an end to Solo Sikoa’s rebellion at Survivor Series. Hence, it is important for The OG Bloodline that he remain on the same page as CM Punk inside WarGames.
As such, Jey Uso announced on this week’s Raw that The OTC and The Second City Saint will hash out their differences on SmackDown. The upcoming show was taped last week, but the advertised face-off between the top stars was not shown to the live audience.
This means that the face-off could be similar to the one Reigns had with Cody Rhodes. Two months ago, the longtime rivals met at the Georgia Tech field ahead of Bad Blood. Needless to say, it will be interesting to see what Punk and Reigns have to say after almost a decade of their unresolved issues.
