Roman Reigns exposed CM Punk for the number of lies that he has told in the past couple of months. ‘The OTC’ said in a pre-taped video package on this week’s Raw that Punk tried to revise the Tribal Chief’s history in the meantime. Reigns stressed that the WWE Universe has lived through it all, and Punk just exposed himself as a hypocrite.

First, Reigns reminded Punk how the Shield used to be his insurance policy back in the day to counter the Best in the World’s claim of Reigns taking help from his cousins to put him through the ringside announce table, as he couldn’t do anything on his own.

Next, the Anoa’i clan wrestler brought up Punk’s alliances with Paul Heyman and The Straight Edge Society to dismiss his recent assertions about not being the one to surround himself with wise men and yes-men.

Next, the former Bloodline leader played that clip from the end of Punk’s WWE return promo from 2023 where he looked at the camera and affirmed that he didn’t come back to make friends; instead, he was there to make money.

But it’s not true either, with Reigns using multiple images of Punk hanging out with other WWE stars and bonding with them. Last but not least, Roman Reigns used an excerpt from Punk’s last week’s pipe bomb on Raw where he trashed Pat McAfee and voiced his displeasure about overpriced WWE tickets. McAfee fired back at Punk on SmackDown by saying that the ‘Second City Saint’ was a fraud.

The former NFL player revealed that Punk has 283 items up for sale on the WWE Shop and wondered where that TKO merch check went upon coming through. Did it benefit the needy families that couldn’t afford WrestleMania tickets, or did it go into the bank account titled “I’m sorry, Saudi Arabia”? After that, Reigns expected Punk to tell the truth by the end of Raw or he’d do it himself.

CM Punk revealed everything that he hated Roman Reigns for on Raw

Just days before taking on CM Punk for the World Heavyweight title at WrestleMania 42, Roman Reigns made his way out on Raw, expecting to hear what his opponent would say in response to the clip exposing him for being a hypocrite. The Chicagoan was quick to interrupt Reigns, but he came through the crowd this time around.

Punk stood over the announcer’s desk and labeled Reigns exposing him as the political smear campaign that ‘The Tribal Chief’ put together as the cold opening to Raw. Punk said he’d tell the truth and asked Reigns to be the judge and even call him out if he lied. ‘The Straight Edge Superstar’ got down and neared the ring before admitting that he hated Reigns because he envied him.

Being in the position that he’s in today was all he had in his heart since being a little kid. And he hated the fact that it was handed to Reigns. Punk also hated that Reigns was a world champion for 1316 days because, upon some introspection, Punk realized that Reigns put in the hard yards to be that great. Punk also couldn’t stand the number of times that ‘The Head of the Table’ has main-evented WrestleMania.

‘The Second City Saint’ then tendered a sincere apology to Roman Reigns for bringing his late father up in a disrespectful manner last month. Punk hailed Reigns’ heavenly dad as a great man before stressing that he’s always loved and respected the old-timers of this business. The former AEW star hated that he wasn’t born into a dynasty and had to find his family in the streets of Sacramento and every locker room he stepped into during his early days on the independent circuit.

Punk underscored traveling to different parts of the world in pursuit of conquering this business, and along the way, he found several people to call his family. He hated that he had to share anything with Reigns, let alone his first singles main event match at WrestleMania. He then explicated how he’s going to beat Reigns up this Sunday and walk out of Las Vegas with the world title around his waist. Reigns told Punk that was probably the most honest the latter had ever been until that closing part.

‘The OTC’ also said that he has hated Punk for a long time, but what sets him off the most is the undeniable connection that Punk has had with the fans. Roman Reigns hoped that when he finally left this place, the fans would miss him the same way they missed Punk and keep chanting for him for a decade. At last, Reigns stressed that Punk’s time as the world champion was almost up as he’s going to fix the mess that he started.
