Off-screen, Roman Reigns ain’t a Tribal Chief, he’s just a man of the people. Recently, the Anoa’i family member was spotted posing with a kid for a picture, as shared by the latter’s parent on X. The account with the username Riaz Moulabi thanked Reigns for giving him and his son a lifetime memory. This rare public appearance from Roman came on the heels of the passing of his legendary father, Sika, last month.

The one-half of The Wild Samoans had his last breath on June 25. A day after his dad left this world for good, Roman Reigns issued a public note, underscoring the downpour of well wishes his family had received. This past weekend, a memorial service was held for the deceased soul. It was there that the fans quickly spotted Paul Heyman, also marking his presence at the ritual.

For the unversed, Sika Anoa’i made an on-screen appearance at Hell in a Cell back in 2020 alongside his brother Afa to bestow the traditional Ula Fala on his son. One could deduce that Roman Reigns was declared The Tribal Chief by his elders that night, and he didn’t disappoint. The Samoan stalwart reigned supreme atop the WWE Universe for almost four years.

He held the WWE Universal title for a resounding 1316 days. It was at this year’s WrestleMania that The Big Dog’s hegemony was annulled by a certain Rhodes. Cody, to be precise, ousted Reigns to earn the distinction of being the first Rhodes to be called a World Champion. Since the mega event in April, Roman’s been on a hiatus from WWE. But he might not be out for that long.

Solo Sikoa has officially waged war against Roman Reigns

As seen in the past few weeks, Solo Sikoa has anointed himself as the next Tribal Chief, thus usurping the reins from Roman Reigns. Last week on SmackDown, Sikoa blamed the 39-year-old for his incompetence to defend his family’s honor at WrestleMania XL.

The Street Champion has taken over and even issued a warning to the ex-Bloodline leader to come back and try to regain his stature if he can. Last Saturday at Money in the Bank, Solo upset the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Cody Rhodes by pinning him. As a result, The Bloodline reigned supreme over The American Nightmare, Randy Orton, and Kevin Owens.

Apart from Sikoa, it was Jacob Fatu‘s WWE in-ring debut, and he turned up big. As the rogue Bloodline continues to wreak havoc upon its foes, the anticipation is growing as to when The Head of the Table might return. Rumors suggest that Reigns could be back as early as SummerSlam.
