On Sunday afternoon, the Pittsburgh Steelers breezed past the Cleveland Browns, beating the visiting side 27-14. After the game, Steelers’ X account came up with a photoshopped image of WWE stars Roman Reigns and CM Punk from their viral moment at Survivor Series: WarGames. The worked-on photo had a Steelers logo on Reigns, who blocked Punk’s entry in the match at the WWE PLE.

Of course, CM Punk was slapped with a Browns logo. The caption called for the acknowledgment of Steelers. However, Reigns, for whom the post was intended, ditched the Steelers for his favorite side, the San Francisco 49ers. The OTC wrote in response, “Niner gang!” In the comments, 49ers tight end George Kittle acknowledged Roman seeing the latter’s unwavering allegiance to the five-time Super Bowl champions.

The Niners are fresh off thrashing the Chicago Bears by 38-13. However, their chances of advancing to the playoffs look bleak. Reigns wouldn’t be the happiest person on earth to realize that his go-to NFL team is least favored to top the NFC West standings.

Just like Roman, former women’s champion Bayley is also a 49ers buff. She was in attendance at Levi’s Stadium and even fired off the foghorn. Going by the aforementioned shoutout of Reigns by the Pittsburgh Steelers X handle, it seems as if they’re high on the former Tribal Chief. However, the Bloodline leader was in no mood to buy their sycophantic quip.

Having said that, The OTC has a bigger fish to fry. Despite spearheading the OG Bloodline’s exploits inside WarGames against Solo Sikoa‘s henchmen, Reigns has yet to retrieve the Ula Fala from the Bloodline 2.0 boss. Solo and Roman will cross that bridge in due time to vie for the revered Samoan garland.

How does Roman Reigns’ early 2025 WWE schedule look like?

WWE is less than a month’s time away from Raw moving to Netflix. And, by the looks of it, the OTT platform’s top brass wants to have a piece of The Head of the Table. As a result, Roman Reigns is slated for numerous Raw shows on Netflix even after its premiere on January 6.

Even though it’s not confirmed, Reigns might switch brands as part of the upcoming WWE transfer window. His WrestleMania 41 plans are still as vague as they come. The safest route WWE can take is by having him square off against Solo Sikoa with Ula Fala at stake.

However, fans might prefer Jacob Fatu in Sikoa’s shoes. The OTC and The Samoan Werewolf haven’t traded blows as much as they would’ve liked to. Who knows if next year’s WrestleMania is their hunting ground?
