Roman Reigns has transformed himself into a completely new man over the past decade. From being the powerhouse of one of the greatest factions of all time to setting a record-breaking championship reign, he has truly come a long way.
During a recent appearance on the No Contest Wrestling podcast, Roman Reigns was asked if he ever missed something from his early days in WWE. The OTC mentioned that he missed the bonds and friendships he had with his colleagues in the locker room. However, he eventually had to choose between staying close to his friends and his career, prompting him to focus on the latter.
Reigns said that he was happy with his current position in the company. He was a fan of the system and process he had going for himself. However, if he could, he would leave to spend more time with the rest of the talent in the locker room and guide them. This includes not just his family but also many of the other superstars present there.
Reigns has often been cited as a locker room leader in recent times. He is known for being kind backstage and guiding other talent. Furthermore, just like his Wiseman, the 39-year-old also seems to have a good eye for talent. In fact, he was the one who wanted Sami Zayn to be a part of the Bloodline story and talked about how they had put on magic.
Roman Reigns talks about always striving to be better
As Roman Reigns mentioned, he is extremely passionate about his career. Furthermore, he is willing to make the necessary sacrifices to excel in his professional life. Speaking in the same interview, the OTC mentioned how he was never satisfied and always strived to be better as a WWE superstar.
Reigns said that he had so much drive that it made him a sick man. He always wanted more and moved his goalposts further back every single time he achieved something. The SmackDown superstar thinks that there is always a level higher that he can achieve. He believes that this is what he is supposed to do with his life.
Reigns mentioned that every time Paul Heyman woke him up in the morning, it was over for everyone else who worked with him. It is this attitude that makes fans want more and more of the former WWE Undisputed Champion. He is currently said to be out of action indefinitely. However, the WWE Universe expects him to be back before WrestleMania and cannot wait to see what he does next.
