Roman Reigns is currently the biggest star in WWE. Although he’s an active member of the roster, he’s currently on an indefinite hiatus. However, that hasn’t stopped ‘The OTC’ from staying in the spotlight. Reports suggest that ‘The Needle Mover’ is in talks for a major live-action film in Hollywood, signaling a potential leap into mainstream entertainment.

According to DEADLINE, the former Undisputed WWE Champion is in talks to join the upcoming live-action adaptation of Street Fighter. The WWE star is reportedly set to be part of a star-studded cast that includes Jason Momoa, Andrew Koji, and Noah Centineo, who are also in negotiations for their respective roles.

While specific details remain under wraps, more information is expected to emerge in the coming weeks. Interestingly, Roman Reigns is rumored to be in consideration for the role of Akuma—a powerful and iconic anti-hero from the Street Fighter franchise. Known for his overwhelming strength and intimidating presence, Akuma shares striking similarities with Reigns’ persona as a former leader of The Bloodline.

Moreover, Reigns has prior acting experience, having made a cameo appearance in Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw. However, this time he is expected to take on a more substantial role. It will be interesting to see how this potential commitment could impact the former Undisputed WWE Champion’s future in WWE.

Roman Reigns has been absent since Raw after WrestleMania

Roman Reigns suffered a major loss at WrestleMania in a Triple Threat Match against Seth Rollins. Not only did he lose the match, but he also lost his longtime Wiseman, Paul Heyman. Following the defeat, ‘The OTC’ made a surprising appearance on the Raw After WrestleMania, but has been absent from WWE programming ever since.

In his last appearance, ‘The Head of the Table’ endured a brutal beatdown at the hands of ‘The Visionary’ Seth Rollins and his ally, Bron Breakker, on Raw. ‘The Dawg of WWE’ dismantled ‘The Needle Mover’ in the center of the ring, sending a powerful message to the WWE Universe. Since then, it has been revealed on WWE television that Roman Reigns has been recovering from the vicious assault.

However, that intense segment was enough to hint that WWE is slowly but steadily laying the groundwork for a future feud between Rollins and Reigns. Additionally, speculation suggests that before Reigns can set his sights on The Architect, he may first have to cross paths with Bron Breakker—setting the stage for a potentially explosive clash.

Roman Reigns to return at Money in the Bank?

Since the brutal attack on Roman Reigns by Bron Breakker and Seth Rollins, fans have been eagerly speculating about ‘The OTC’s next move. While there’s currently no official confirmation regarding his return, rumors suggest he could make a shocking comeback at Money in the Bank next month—potentially costing his rivals a massive opportunity on WWE’s grand stage.

‘The Visionary’ has made it clear that he’s determined to reclaim the World Heavyweight Championship and reestablish his dominance in WWE. With that goal in mind, he’s expected to enter this year’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match. However, just as things seem to be aligning in his favor, Reigns could make a shocking return to derail his plans and cost him the high-stakes opportunity.

There’s a strong possibility that this angle could unfold in Los Angeles next month, bringing ‘The Needle Mover’ back into the spotlight. Such a moment would not only mark a dramatic return for Roman Reigns but could also serve as a pivotal chapter in his intensifying rivalry with Seth Rollins.
