Roman Reigns unhappy with Paul Heyman’s absence from WWE SmackDown after getting turned down by Jey Uso

This week’s SmackDown was a turning point in The Bloodline saga. After Jimmy Uso and Roman Reigns reunited last week, it was made clear that the two intended to recruit Jey Uso as well to form the ‘Original’ Bloodline. However, Reigns was also seen missing Paul Heyman last night after ‘Main Event’ Jey turned down his offer.
When Reigns and Jimmy were having a conversation backstage, there was a moment where the latter mentioned the ‘Wiseman’ Paul Heyman. The OTC responded to the former Tag Team Champion, stating that if Heyman was involved, Jey would have already been brought back. It was a callback to the acclaimed diplomatic tactics the Hall of Famer has that have often helped The Bloodline in the past.
There was also an interaction between The Needle Mover and ‘Main Event’ Jey backstage. Surprisingly, Reigns expressed that he was proud of the accomplishments Uso has managed to achieve on his own. Considering the past traumatic relationship between the cousins, Jey had no interest in being under the same roof as Roman and walked away.

What is more intriguing is that segments like this are gradually paving the way for the inevitable Bloodline reunion. The current faction carried out another hellacious attack against Roman and Jimmy last night. Therefore, it is going to be captivating to see how they will take revenge on Solo Sikoa for this from here on.
Roman Reigns revealed his emotional promise to his late father
Roman Reigns walked to the ring this week on SmackDown to have a face-off with Solo Sikoa. His aim was to settle the ongoing ‘Civil War’ in the family by declaring truce with the latter. However, in order to convince the self-proclaimed Tribal Chief, The OTC revealed an emotional promise he made to his father.
Reigns revealed that he promised his late father, Sika, that he would fix his family. He added that he gave Sika his word that he would take their family to the “promise land.” Moreover, he emphasized that the idea was to put his loved ones on top while being a good leader for the family.
After everything we been through, everything we went through in the Spring, everything we lost in the Summer, and we stand here divided like this? Solo, I told my father that I could fix this. All I want to do is put us back in the Promised Land. I want titles around our waists, I want paydays coming from the heavens, I want abundance.

This moment grabbed a lot of attention as Reigns’ eyes were glossy during his promo. However, it was not enough to convince Sikoa. Also, this promise has added a new layer to the babyface character of The OTC. In fact, this important revelation could act as the catalyst for the future reunion of the OG Bloodline.
