Ronda Rousey is an ace of the highest orders in the combat sports circle. She has carved a unique path both in WWE and the UFC. Recently, The Los Angeles Times did a segment with her at their 2024 Festival of Books photo and video studio. During this, Rousey namedropped her ex-bosses, Vince McMahon and Dana White, in a hypothetical.

This went in the manner of Jiri Prochazka, Ryan Garcia, or even Conor McGregor answering queries and listing essentials for GQ Sports. In the segment “Very Important Questions with Ronda Rousey,” the fighter answered some atypical questions on who’d win in a cage match between Dana White and Vince McMahon. It is safe to say Rousey had a clear preference.

Who would win in a cage fight - Dana White, or Vince McMahon...Oh My god! Dana would destroy Vince. And I'd love to see that happen...Oh my God, make it happen...

‘Rowdy’ has had a wonderful relationship with White. The UFC head honcho lambasted fellow promoter Scott Coker for not cycling talents through Strikeforce or Bellator MMA. This threw shade on Coker, failing to turn Rousey into a star, even though she was. As such, Rousey is ardently loyal to her UFC boss. On the plus side, she has no love for McMahon. With WWE and UFC merging under the TKO Group Holding’s umbrella, McMahon resigned as Executive Chairman amid se*ual trafficking allegations.

Concurrently, Rousey has also critically voiced her concerns about McMahon’s overshadowing the company with extortive means. McMahon was also no longer Chairman of WWE after the change to TKO — which Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel led. However, in a short time, she faced se*ual misappropriation herself. Hence, it isn’t surprising she’d upvote Dana White to win.

Ronda Rousey details the hardest part of writing about herself

Ronda ‘Rowdy’ Rousey remains infamous for her dominant tenure in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and WWE. The first-ever American women’s Olympic Judoka, she won the bronze at the 2008 Summer Olympics. Going 12-2 in UFC, she’d later debut in professional entertainment wrestling in 2018, signing with WWE.

From winning the Raw Women’s Championship to being a three-time women’s world champion in WWE. She did it all; consequently, she is one of the only few Women’s Triple Crown Champions as well. Her decorated career deserves quite the attention, to say the least. Hence, she recently took promotional media tours for her new autobiography, Our Fight: A Memoir, a New York Times bestseller.

My sister put this really uh…succinctly, she said that writing a book is like writing your heart down…and giving it to other people to read. And I think the hardest part is, uh… bearing yourself to people who you know might not appreciate the gesture…

From a trailblazing pioneer of WMMA to a bestselling author, Ronda Rousey admits the journey has been daunting. Speaking to NewsNation TV Journo Chris Cuomo (for “The Chris Cuomo Project” Podcast), Rousey said she was lucky she got her word out at all and felt humbled by the experience.

Rousey also said that enduring the fact that some people might be critical of it is the toughest part yet. People like McMahon, or say Holly Holm (who dismissed her claims of fighting through a concussion) came out at the wrong end of the narration. Hence, there always remain people who would not like her tales. However, as always, Rousey plans to push through.
