Ronda Rousey left WWE after her rather forgettable MMA Rules match against Shayna Baszler at SummerSlam. Since leaving the Stamford-based company, she has said a lot of negative things about WWE, especially Vince McMahon. However, in her recent interviews, The Baddest Woman on the Planet discussed the possibility of getting back into the squared circle once again under Triple H‘s regime.

She recently participated in a Reddit Ask Me Anything session with AMA Studios and answered a few questions from fans. When a fan asked her who she would like to face in the future if she ever returned, Ronda Rousey named Rhea Ripley without hesitation and heaped praise on the Aussie star. The former Women’s Champion was hopeful that they would fight one day.

In the same session, Rousey expressed her desire to return to WWE and team up with her friend Shayna Baszler once again. Despite her strained relationships with Vince McMahon, John Laurinaitis, and Bruce Prichard, she maintains a good relationship with Stephanie McMahon and Triple H. In a recent podcast with Chris Van Vliet, the 37-year-old athlete wore a necklace gifted to her by Stephanie and even admitted to missing her.

Yeah, Rhea Ripley — she’s amazing and hopefully we get the opportunity one day.

After she departed from WWE, she appeared at Pro Wrestling Revolver’s Unreal event last year. She teamed up with Marina Shafir and wrestled against Athena and Billie Starkz in a tag team match. For many fans, Rousey’s match against Ripley was a dream match they had wanted to see for a long time. They believed the match was finally going to take place at WrestleMania 39, but it wasn’t meant to be.

Ronda Rousey wanted a rematch with Becky Lynch after their triple threat match at WrestleMania 35

Ronda Rousey has been a part of many historic moments in her life. One of them was becoming one of the first women to main-event WrestleMania with Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch in 2019. Despite the historical significance, Rousey complained about how the match was just thrown together and that they were still figuring things out at the venue.

While speaking with Chris Van Vliet on The Insight, the 37-year-old star stated that the finish sequence wasn’t intentional. Rousey said that her shoulders were up and that she wanted to use that to extend their singles rivalry. However, she mentioned that it didn’t go as planned, and fans were robbed of the much-anticipated match between her and The Man.

I wanted to use that as 'Okay this is how we lead into the next one.' We bring it up on the Tron and say 'You never got me, this was bulls*it. The referees are all in your pocket.' All the build to put that into the next singles between me and Becky that everybody wanted that got taken away.

The UFC legend further added that they didn’t get much time to put a match together for the fans. It was the complete opposite of her debut match at WrestleMania 34 against Triple H and Stephanie. She revealed that the preparation for that match had been going on for weeks, with everyone pitching ideas to make it great.
