All eyes were on the 2025 WNBA Draft to see how teams select the best prospects. Everyone knew Paige Bueckers was going No. 1 overall. But what intrigued everyone was how the other teams were going to select based on roster needs and overall skill.

The Seattle Storm selecting second did not have Olivia Miles as they initially hoped. After she decided to stay back in college, they went in a different direction and drafted the next best prospect in Dominique Malonga.

The Washington Mystics held three out of the next four draft picks and initially went with forwards Sonia Citron and Kiki Iriafen. Then after the Golden State Valkyries went with Lithuanian Justé Jocyté. The Mystics saw an opportunity to strengthen their guard rotation and picked Kentucky star Georgia Amoore.

As the Australian went up to the stage to meet commissioner Cathy Engelbert, all eyes were on her outfit. She was wearing a black jacket with a black skirt and flat shoes. But the design of the jacket drew attention as it looked as if Amoore had someone custom design it for her.

It was then revealed that Denver Nuggets superstar Russell Westbrook‘s brand, Honor the Gift, had designed the outfit based on Amoore’s requirements. That is the reason the former NBA MVP turned up in New York city to be alongside his fellow point guard.

He was beaming when walking alongside Georgia Amoore wearing again a custom denim outfit his brand designed. This was the perfect opportunity for Westbrook to hard launch his fashion line as Amoore’s outfit drew eyeballs around New York.

Russell Westbrook has seen it all throughout the seventeen seasons he has spent in the NBA. He might have racked up a lot of accolades over the years but knows all too well how difficult it is to get a chance to do something different. That is what he felt while styling Georgia Amoore

After hearing this, the former Kentucky star mentioned that stars aligned for her. She ended up with the Washington Mystics whereas Trinity Rodman plays for the Spirit. Her favorite women’s soccer player works in the same city, which means, she can go out to watch those games.
