Russell Wilson is a social bird- he loves to enjoy his life off the football field when he gets the chance to do so. The quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers made an appearance at Zac Brown Band’s concert at the Kenny Chesney concert in Acrisure Stadium yesterday.

Russell Wilson joined the band on stage during their performance and amidst a shower of cheers from the crowd he gifted the singer his No.3 Steelers jersey. The singer expressed his gratitude towards Wilson by posting a video of him stepping up on stage and gifting him the jersey along with two images of them posing with the jersey on X.

Russell Wilson’s wife Ciara was a notable absence at the Zac Brown Band concert

Apart from Zac Brown Band, Megan Moroney and Uncle Kracker were notable artists who performed at the Chesney Concert. The event is part of Chesney’s Sun Goes Down Tour and Pittsburgh is one of his favorite places to perform at. It comes as no surprise that he has performed there 12 times.

Russell Wilson and his wife Ciara are music aficionados, with the latter herself being a reputed artist. The QB’s wife was notably absent at the country music concert. Since signing with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Wilson has been putting in efforts to get to know the community and the city better by becoming a regular presence at key events.

As he gears up for a pivotal year that could potentially determine if he is still capable of being a starter in the NFL, Wilson remains focused by keeping his head down and practicing hard. The Steelers signed Wilson to a one-year deal for $1 million and just weeks later signed Justin Fields from the Chicago Bears. Russ ought to stay at the top of his game for the entire year as he risks being benched for Fields in case he no longer performs well.
