The fight between Ryan Garcia and Devin Haney ended with KingRy emerging victorious via a majority decision. Several people had doubted the young boxer because of his antics throughout the fight. However, Garcia was able to prove everyone wrong and become the first boxer to defeat Haney as a professional. The conclusion of the fight caused everyone to go into a frenzy, and even Eddie Hearn and Garcia’s father got into a verbal altercation after the fight.

Hearn had been vocally advocating that Haney was the superior fighter throughout the buildup. The promoter had proclaimed that The Dream is an elite fighter and is one of the best pound-for-pound boxers.

Across the fight, McComb had delivered a dominant performance and had the edge over his opponent. However, even though people believed he did enough to win, the judges scored the fight in Barboza’s favor. Hearn reacted to this and said:

How on earth do you have a scorecard that is 98-92 for McComb and 97-93 for Barboza?

Two judges scored the fight 96-94 and 97-93 in Barboza’s favor, while the other scored it 98-92 in McComb’s favor. The promoter believes that the scorecard didn’t make any sense at all. Furthermore, Eddie Hearn stated that he believes his fighter won the fight.
