Ryback says it would take The Rock getting involved for him to return to WWE (via WWE)
Ryback is one of the most controversial figures in professional wrestling today. He has had online beef with various WWE superstars, most prominently CM Punk. He was last seen in WWE almost nine years ago and said that he is still willing to come back, but it might take the involvement of The Rock to make it happen.
In a recent Instagram video, Ryback was asked why he won’t return to WWE. He responded by saying that now that Vince McMahon was gone, he harbored no ill will against the company. The 43-year-old claimed that he was happy, healthy, and grateful. He said that WWE is in a good place, just like he is.
However, if Ryback were to ever return to the company, WWE would need to right some serious wrongs that they supposedly did to him in the past. Furthermore, he said that it would take The Rock to get involved in order for him to come back.
Some serious wrongs need to be righted, and it would most, honestly take The Rock getting involved for something to get done.

While it may seem far-fetched for The Brahma Bull to get involved in brokering deals with the company and other talent, it may not be unprecedented. It is heavily rumored that the Great One is one of the main reasons that Drew McIntyre re-signed with the company last year. In fact, it was the Hollywood Superstar who broke this news before anyone. He also predicted way back in 2019 that The Chosen One would go on to be a huge superstar.
The impact of The Rock’s appearance on WWE SmackDown revealed
The Rock shocked the world by returning to WWE on the latest episode of SmackDown. His appearance was announced about 24 hours before the episode went live. Thus, several changes had to be made to the show because of the former WWE Champion. He had a segment with Cody Rhodes and demanded his soul, which left fans with more questions than were answered during the promo.

While the segment received mixed reactions from fans, it cannot be denied that The Final Boss is a needle-mover. Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer revealed that ever since the People’s Champion was advertised for the Elimination Chamber, the company has moved 2500 tickets for that show since Friday.
The latest episode of SmackDown also did very well and pulled an average of 1,736,000 viewers. This is a staggering 22% rise as compared to the previous week. Furthermore, it is 16% above the four-week trailing average for the blue brand.
