Said Nurmagovedov to go against Mark Striegel at upcoming UFC “Fight Night” event on Oct. 17, 2020 according to John Hyon Ko. 

Nurmagomedov to face Striegl in October this year 

Nurmagomedov has 13 victories in his professional MMA career.  Out of those 13, seven have come via decision. Having won two of three under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Justin Scoggins and Ricardo Ramos. Guess Khabib is not the only Nurmagomedov who will be making a return in the octagon in October. Nurmagomedov has not picked up a victory in almost 2 years. His last win happened in February 2019. 

Striegl (18-2-0-1NC) is making his UFC debut in this fight and he has won four of his last six bouts. Striegl is going to be competing for the first time in almost 1 and a half years. His last bout coming at URCC 77 in April of 2019. Striegl has competed 21 times as a professional MMA fighter and 16 of those contests ended by way of submission.

UFC Fight Island 6 is set for Saturday, October 17 from Fight Island in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi with Brian Ortega and Chan Sung Jung headlining. The pair finally gets a chance to have a go at each other. With the winner likely getting the opportunity to face division king, Alexander Volkanovski.
