I've known him for a very long time. There's been some ups, there's been some downs. He showed up and I was like, 'I just don't want this to be weird. Say whatever you need to say.' He said his piece, I said my piece. Clean slate. That's it. As far as I’m concerned, we have to work together, you’re here, and you’ve been through a lot in your life, let’s just clean slate and start over. That’s it.

Punk’s behavior since his return to the Survivor Series has been appreciated by many in WWE. He was often seen talking and training with many upcoming NXT stars ahead of his in-ring return at Royal Rumble. This could only mean greater things in the future for both CM Punk and the Stamford-based company.

Sami Zayn expressed his honest opinions about the Triple H era

When Vince McMahon initially resigned from the position as chairman in July 2022, his son-in-law, Triple H, took command. Many fans, WWE superstars, and employees have noticed a sudden change in the environment within the company. In light of that, Sami Zayn has revealed the changes they felt under Hunter’s regime.

During the same interview, he was asked about Hunter’s leadership and whether the superstars were given enough freedom or not. The 39-year-old star admitted an increased freedom in the new regime when compared to the old one.

In some aspects 100%, in some aspects he is still the boss at the end of the day. But when it comes to how you do whatever you're gonna do, there's definitely a lot more freedom. All this to say, for sure under Triple H, there's no question that in the week-to-week stuff and how you execute, there's a far more freedom as a performer.

Zayn stayed a perennial main eventer under The Game’s regime and was a part of many memorable moments. He recently defeated Gunther at WrestleMania XL to become the Intercontinental Champion.
