San Antonio Spurs seemed to use their agony after suffering from their most humiliating defeat in the previous game, to bounce back in emphatic record-breaking style against Milwaukee Bucks. Having led by DeMar DeRozan who knocked 23 points, Spurs set a new record of scoring 87 points in only the first half as they ended Bucks’ 5-match winning streak.
Milwaukee Bucks had a five-game winning streak snapped and dropped a game behind idle Brooklyn Nets for second place in the Eastern Conference. The victory came 10 days after the San Antonio Spurs blew a 32-point lead at Boston and lost 143-140 in overtime.
