“Screaming. Crying. Throwing up,” Fans shed tears as Daniel Ricciardo confirms exit from the grid after the 2022 F1 season
Daniel Ricciardo
Daniel Ricciardo confirmed his exit from the grid after the 2022 season. Ricciardo is one of the best drivers on the track and was considered a championship winner if given the right opportunity. He left Red Bull in 2018 after winning seven races and that’s when his downfall started. The Aussie was left with no option but to leave the sport as he has no seat to drive on for the next season.
Daniel joined Renault after leaving Red Bull thought he struggled with the right balance of the car in his first season he did manage to get a hold of it the next season. He then left Renault for McLaren which was then considered a ground wrecking decision but was later turned down to be the worst decision he has ever taken. McLaren didn’t see the best of Ricciardo and turned it down by signing Oscar Piastri for the next season.
Daniel after the announcement of Piere Gasly’s move to Alpine and Nyck de Vries’s move to Alpha Tauri opened up on his realistic situation for the next season. “I won’t be on the grid in 2023,” Daniel Ricciardo said.

Fan reactions to the sad news of Daniel Ricciardo’s exit
Daniel was one of the most successful drivers on track and was off track as well. He managed to get himself a huge fan base with his humour and kind-hearted attitude. Fans aren’t happy to see no Ricciardo on the next year’s grid.
As for the Japan GP qualifying, it was yet another disappointment for the Aussie as he only managed a P11 but looks forward to a better race on Sunday. Though the gates for 2023 are shut for the 34-year-old, 2024 could still be a welcoming year for Daniel.
