Seth Rollins and MJF have flooded the internet with their brief interaction at the Super Bowl radio row. As seen in the following clip posted by Justin LaCertosa of LaCertosa Sports, MJF jokingly asked Rollins if they were looking at each other in a devious fashion. ‘The Visionary’ replied, saying, “I don’t know. Maybe a face-off.”

That being said, both Rollins and MJF kept looking into each other’s eyes for a while until the former Shield member burst into laughter, with ‘The Devil’ following suit. Max immediately uttered, “I appreciate you, man.” ‘The Architect’ stated that “somebody’s gonna get mad,” hinting at Friedman’s boss and AEW CEO Tony Khan.

But Rollins eventually proceeded for a handshake and even gave a warm embrace to ‘The Salt of the Earth’. Maxwell has posted a shot of him and Rollins on X. One of Max’s colleagues and most fierce rivals, viz., Swerve Strickland, has reacted to it, saying, “Bidding war 2024.” For the unversed, Maxwell Jacob Friedman’s AEW contract was reportedly up in late 2023.

The internet had already dubbed him as the hottest free agent heading into 2024, with many fans expecting the New Yorker to jump ship to WWE. ‘The Devil’ admitted in an interview with Sports Illustrated after re-emerging on AEW programming at Double or Nothing in May 2024 that he did consider WWE as a real option but chose to stay with All Elite Wrestling due to a better offer and career longevity.

While there have been a handful of AEW talents going to WWE in recent years, with Cody Rhodes being the most significant one, the fans’ eyes are peeled on when and if MJF will ultimately make the move. Another AEW homegrown star, the erstwhile Powerhouse Hobbs, now going by Royce Keys, recently made his WWE debut at the Royal Rumble.

Is Seth Rollins behind the Bron Breakker attack before the Royal Rumble match?

While Seth Rollins is still healing from a torn rotator cuff injury that he sustained at last year’s Crown Jewel PLE while wrestling Cody Rhodes, he’s very much on track to make it to WrestleMania 42. Everyone saw how Bron Breakker was viciously ambushed by a black-hooded masked figure before the start of the men’s Royal Rumble match.

The fact that the mystery attacker used a curb stomp made the fans believe that he had to be Rollins. An HSP podcast exclusive claims that the man underneath the black hoodie was Grayson Waller, who made the trip to Riyadh to do the pre-match angle.

‘The Visionary’ is expected to be revealed as the mastermind behind that assault, but he didn’t go to Saudi Arabia, obviously due to him not being medically cleared.

WWE needed someone to match Rollins’ build, and the company saw Waller fit for that role. Cory Hays of BodySlam noted that WWE is expecting the 39-year-old Iowa native to return before WrestleMania. That is why the company went ahead with the beatdown of Breakker. ‘The Unpredictable Badass’ was, at one point, the frontrunner candidate to win the 2026 men’s Royal Rumble match.

But how quickly the tides could turn. It’s clear as daylight that WWE has Rollins vs. Breakker penciled in for the Grandest Stage of Them All. The seeds for this match were planted this past October on Raw in Perth. That show saw Bron Breakker and ‘Big’ Bronson Reed betraying their leader.

The young guns of the group took Rollins out in a segment that was designed to write him off for the foreseeable future. It was done to allow Seth Rollins to have a break and get surgery done on his left shoulder. ‘The Drip God’ will be gunning for revenge on his former disciple Breakker, who initiated the attack on him a few months ago.
