Two nights after becoming the World Heavyweight Champion at SummerSlam, Seth Rollins made a giant leap toward establishing his crew’s dominance on the August 4th segment of Raw. Last night, he defended his title against LA Knight, which eventually ended in a DQ when CM Punk blindsided ‘The Visionary’ at the ringside. Punk kept unloading on Rollins until Knight pulled him aside and expressed his disdain for his championship match ending on such a note.
Out of nowhere, Bron Breakker clocked ‘The Best in the World’ with a spear, followed by “Big” Bronson Reed neutralizing ‘The Megastar’. Just when Rollins, his oracle, Paul Heyman, and their henchmen were basking amid a chorus of boos from the crowd, Roman Reigns‘ music hit. ‘The OTC’ ran through Breakker and Reed in a brawl that made it inside the ring.
While Reigns was throwing punches on ‘The Auszilla’, Rollins, from behind, nailed his former Shield brother with a curb stomp. ‘The Tribal Chief’ wouldn’t have expected what was next. He got pummeled with a devastating spear from Breakker, which preceded a trifecta of tsunamis from Reed. Even Raw GM Adam Pearce and his reinforcement plans proved futile in an attempt to tame down the destruction.

Knight and Punk had already been rendered impotent, so they couldn’t mitigate the damage being done to Reigns while they were grounded. It appears as if things are headed for a six-man tag team showdown with ‘The Architect’ and his men gearing up to take on the star-studded trio of Reigns, Punk, and Knight at some point.
Bronson Reed stole Roman Reigns’ shoes once again on Raw
It seems like Bronson Reed is a kleptomaniac about Roman Reigns‘ sneakers. After having flattened ‘The Head of the Table’ with three earth-shaking tsunamis on Raw, ‘The Auszilla’, pretty much like he did on Raw before SummerSlam, stole The OTC’s shoes once again. This has already earned him the nickname of ‘The Tribal Thief’, who carries around the ‘Shoe-La-Fala‘, which is a wordplay on the revered Samoan garland—Ula Fala.

The beating that Reigns sustained last night appeared as if it was done on purpose to write him off television yet again. As per WrestlingNews.co, the 40-year-old is expected to leave for Australia soon to start filming for the Street Fighter live-action movie. If that does end up being the case, the former Undisputed WWE Champion might not return for another month or two. Reigns isn’t advertised for any show until the Survivor Series PLE slated for November 22.
The “Tribal Thief” strikes again — this time Bronson Reed snatched Roman Reigns’ “Bred” Air Jordan 1 Mids 😂🤣 @BRONSONISHERE

It’d be interesting to see if the former Bloodline supremo makes it back to WWE way before that to settle the score with Seth Rollins and his faction. If Reigns is done for at the moment, it’d leave LA Knight and CM Punk a man short to go up against The Visionary’s trio. WWE may also take an alternative route, pitting Rollins, Knight, and Punk in a triple-threat world title feud ahead of the upcoming Clash in Paris PLE.
Did Roman Reigns emerge victorious at SummerSlam?
Roman Reigns had a successful SummerSlam weekend in New Jersey. He kicked off night one of the show with Jey Uso by his side, taking on the duo of Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. It was The OTC’s third match of 2025, having previously wrestled on Raw’s Netflix debut and at WrestleMania 41.

Uso and Reigns kept the crowd going with various offenses and mid-match yeeting. In a decent opener, it was Uso who got the winning pinfall for his team when he ousted Reed. Neither Reigns nor Breakker was involved in the match finish, which entails that WWE does plan on holding a future singles bout between the two.
‘The Unpredictable Badass’ has already deemed ‘The Tribal Chief’ as his greatest wrestler of all time in a previous interview. They’ve had quite a few face-offs this year and are likely to have more. SummerSlam was a setback for Breakker, who’s being hailed by many as the future of WWE.
