This week’s Monday Night Raw from Perth ended on a genuinely startling note. The closing scenes saw Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed standing tall over Seth Rollins, who constituted the trio known as The Vision in the first place. But what exactly led to the abrupt breakup? The seeds were planted in the opening segment of the night itself.
Rollins was gloating about his Crown Jewel victory over Cody Rhodes. ‘The Architect’ then underscored the difference between himself and other greats of his generation. The Chicago Bears superfan said that he’s never needed anyone’s help to find success in WWE, unlike Roman Reigns, who was backed by the Shield and the Bloodline at different stages of his career.
Meanwhile, Rhodes also needed Rollins to help him beat The OTC at WrestleMania XL. ‘The Visionary’ eventually noted that he doesn’t need Breakker, Reed, or even Paul Heyman. Rollins said he’s chosen them and vice versa because he’s a visionary and a revolutionary. The Iowa native brazenly claimed that he ousted Roman Reigns and CM Punk at WrestleMania 41 and trounced Cody Rhodes on Saturday.

Rollins couldn’t do it without the same Rolex watch that Rhodes gifted him to register his first singles win over the former AEW EVP. Fast forward to the main event of the night: Punk beat LA Knight and Jey Uso to become the No. 1 contender for the world heavyweight title. Rollins-led Vision quickly made their way out and attacked each of the three stars who had just wrestled such a high-stakes matchup.

Once the trio asserted its dominance, the credits appeared at the bottom of the Netflix feed, indicating the show was about to go off air. However, it was done on purpose. Out of nowhere, Bron Breakker snapped and speared Rollins in a jaw-dropping betrayal. The RAC Arena went bonkers for the turn.
Breakker asked Reed to make a choice, and the ‘Auszilla’ sided with the ‘Unpredictable Badass’ as he flattened the world champion with a tsunami. Breakker quickly turned his attention to Heyman, who was aghast by what had transpired. It appeared as if even ‘The Wiseman’ was taken aback. Heyman had no choice but to align himself with Breakker and Reed in stunning visuals to close out Raw.
Did WWE rush Seth Rollins’ Vision breakup?
The aforementioned disintegration of The Vision was always bound to happen, but the fans didn’t expect it this early. Was the angle always planned for Raw in Perth, or is there more than meets the eye? A new report from PWInsider has revealed that Seth Rollins is believed to have suffered an injury while wrestling Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel.

The spot that saw ‘The Visionary’ execute a coast-to-coast headbutt on a hung-up Rhodes in the turnbuckle may have messed up the left shoulder of Rollins. The report adds that it pretty much necessitated the breakup of the Vision. As of now, there’s no update on the nature and severity of the issue, and Rollins is expected to undergo tests to determine it.

‘The Drip God’ was spotted wearing a sling on his left shoulder in a selfie he took with a fan on Sunday. Could it be a case of Rollins faking his injury yet again, like he did with his knee, to engineer the Ruse of the Century? It might be. However, there’s an equal chance of the injury being legit this time around.

The injury concerns also shed doubt over Rollins’ heavily rumored involvement in this year’s WarGames clash. But before that, he was reportedly slated to defend his world title against CM Punk at Saturday Night’s Main Event on November 1. Time will tell if it’s still on or not.
