Seth Rollins claims that 60-year-old WWE legend is the reason behind him having a daughter with Becky Lynch

Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch are one of the biggest power couples in professional wrestling. Both of them have achieved nearly everything there is to do in WWE and even won their respective Royal Rumble matches in the same year. The couple also has a daughter together, and according to the 39-year-old, he has no one but ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin to thank for his child.

Rollins was recently a host on NFL Network’s Good Morning Football. During the show, he revealed that he would not have a daughter if it weren’t for ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin. This statement shocked the entire panel. The first WWE show following the COVID-19 lockdown was the 3/16 episode of Raw. Of course, this show featured an appearance from The Texas Rattlesnake himself.

It is customary and a tradition in WWE for someone to drink beer with Austin in the ring whenever he shows up. Rollins said that Becky Lynch was the hottest superstar in the company at that point and, thus, was chosen for this role.

Following that episode of Raw, Lynch and Austin met up backstage to enjoy a few more cans of beer. Later that night, The Man told Rollins that perhaps she was ready to take some time off from wrestling in order to have a baby. The Visionary joked that he wasn’t sure if she would have come to that conclusion had it not been for the alcohol.

Seth Rollins discusses being the host on Good Morning Football

Between March 24th and March 26th, Seth Rollins was seen as a host on Good Morning Football, a show by the NFL Network where he revealed this anecdote about Stone Cold and Becky Lynch. The Architect talked about this opportunity during an interview with Front Office Sports.

Rollins has made it no secret that he loves football. His interest in the sport has only grown over the past few years. The former WWE Champion loves to talk, and this simply seemed like a great opportunity for him. The 38-year-old said that he had been on other football shows like Radio Row. He had even gone down to the Super Bowl. Thus, being a host on Good Morning Football was a no-brainer, considering that he loves discussing the sport, especially his favorite team, the Chicago Bears.

Hence, when Seth Rollins was presented with this opportunity on Good Morning Football, he immediately pounced on it. Not only did he get to talk about a sport he loved but also promote WWE at the same time. He also revealed that he was thinking about starting up a Chicago Bears-related podcast, and even WWE was very supportive of this idea.

Later, a triple-threat match for WrestleMania 41 was announced on the latest episode of SmackDown following their intense brawl.

Speaking on The Rich Eisen Show, Rollins said that the three of them were some of the biggest icons professional wrestling has had in the past 15-20 years. However, there was a lot of animosity between all of them. He continued to say that there was a lot of professional respect between him and Reigns. However, there was no trust between them because of their history.

Rollins claimed that their match was going to feature three very combustible elements. Furthermore, he said that triple-threat matches do not have disqualifications and count-outs. Thus, they have all the tools at their disposal to take care of their enemies. The mere prospect of such an idea excited him a lot.
