It’s been over a month since the events of WrestleMania 40. Regardless of the spectacular event it was, for some, it was a night where their titles’ reign was snapped away. Seth Rollins lost his World Heavyweight Championship at the show in Philadelphia. He hasn’t been seen since then. However, a new update on his contract has surfaced on the internet.
According to Fightful Select, the Visionary has finally inked a new contract with WWE. It is a multi-year deal, as some sources suggest that WWE was determined to retain Seth Rollins. However, the nature of the contract is not yet clear.
The 37-year-old is currently out of action due to his knee surgery. As such, he has been on a hiatus ever since Cody Rhodes finished his story under the lights of Philadelphia. Moreover, he was also drafted last week on Raw, which almost confirms that his return is not too distant in the future.
Besides, with an all-new contract, it is possible that there is going to be a new creative direction for him as well. Upon his return, he has some unsettled business with the likes of CM Punk, Drew McIntyre, and even Roman Reigns. Also, when he comes back, it is going to be the first time in over 300 days that Rollins will be without a championship.
Seth Rollins spotted after losing at WrestleMania XL
After being in the dark for almost a month, Seth Rollins has finally been spotted. After walking out of WrestleMania with a torn meniscus, Rollins is back in wrestling. However, it is not what it actually means. The Visionary has been clicked, making an appearance for the wrestling students at Black and Brave wrestling school.
In the pictures, he is seen addressing the athletes and giving them pointers. A similar kind of picture was also shared by the same Instagram handle a few weeks ago. Therefore, it suggests that Rollins is making regular appearances at the school.
Moreover, it looks like the Visionary has been practicing weekly at this gym in order to prepare for his return after surgery. With the look and feel of the picture, the former World Champion looks in good shape after the surgery.
