The seven-time world champion and Mercedes’ driver, Lewis Hamilton, has been granted permission to enhance the security of his mansion in London. The driver wants the railings to be replaced by solid barriers. Reportedly, he also wants new entrance gates.
The clearance for this measure was granted by the officials at Kensington and Chelsea council after there were no objections from neighbors, reports Daily Mail.
Hamilton’s mansion is located in West London, which he bought in 2017 from Burberry chief designer Christopher Bailey and his husband, actor Simon Woods. The mansion was built in 1860 by renowned builder Samuel Johns and had six bedrooms and a 200ft garden amongst other luxuries.
