Shah Rukh Khan unveils new campaign; urges fans to support KKR in IPL 2020

The thirteenth edition of Indian Premier League is slated to get underway from 19th September 2020. The Board of Control for Cricket in India announced the schedule of the league stage matches on Sunday.

According to the official schedule, Chennai Super Kings will play the season opener against Mumbai Indians.

The matches will be played inside closed doors. Three venues have been decided to stage the matches of IPL 2020- Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. The final match of the tournament will be played on 10th November 2020.

10 double-headers will be played in IPL 2020. Also, the matches will start half-hour early than usual timings. The afternoon games will start at 3:30 PM, while the evening matches will start at 7:30 PM.

Meanwhile, superstar Shah Rukh Khan has launched a new campaign and urged the fans to support KKR in IPL 2020.

“@kkriders #HaiTaiyaar… come on, let’s get behind our Knights and support them through this season! #TuFanNahiToofanHai,” Shah Rukh wrote in a social media post.

Kolkata Knight Riders in their post wrote, “This year, the Knight Riders have only one chant and one salute, and it’s all about you. Tu jaan le tu kaun hai, #TuFanNahiToofanHai“

Earlier, Dinesh Karthik too expressed love for the fans on behalf of the team. The skipper stated that they will miss the buzz of Eden Gardens this year, however, the fans will remain in their hearts.

“We will be missing our fans this year and the energy of Eden Gardens. We wanted to communicate directly with KKR fans, and wanted to convey what they mean to us. We do understand that they can’t be here in person with us, but they will be in our hearts,” Karthik said.
