The Los Angeles Rams were crowned as the Super Bowl Champions after they defeated the Cincinnati Bengals in a very close contest that went to the wire with all outcomes possible until the game-deciding final play was made by the Rams DT Aaron Donald.

The Los Angeles Rams have a roster full of superstars at multiple positions and with coach Sean McVay and the leader on defense Aaron Donald announcing during the SB parade that they will be coming back next season, their chances of repeating as the Super Bowl champs have gradually increased.

Former NFL player and current FOX Sports Analyst Shannon Sharpe talked about the chances of the Los Angeles Rams repeating as the Super Bowl champs and said, “10%. It’s really difficult to go back-to-back. The last 17 Super Bowl Champs have failed to repeat.”

“You just have so much uncertainty…”- Shannon Sharpe on the Los Angeles Rams

Shannon Sharpe on Undisputed talked about the chances of the Los Angeles Rams going back to back as the Super Bowl Champions and said, “The Bucs brought almost all of their roster back and they even didn’t go anywhere near to winning the SB again, they qualified for the playoffs but not the Championship Game which shows how hard it is to win it back.”

He said, “You got Robert Woods coming off an ACL injury, you got OBJ a free agent coming off an ACL injury, you got Whitworth who is considering retirement as he is 40 years old, You just have uncertainty and Von Miller is a free agent who might get offered way too much money from other teams, He might it like it in LA so much and he might stay and they got no significant draft picks.”

Shannon Sharpe said, “I think its easier to come back in the NFC rather than AFC because in AFC you have got Mahomes, Allen, Herbert and you got the Titans coming back with Derrick Henry, and if Aaron Rodgers leaves the NFC with the whole situation happening in Arizona with Kyler Murray it makes the NFC easy.”

He further said, “I just think it’s very difficult to repeat and we saw what happened with Tampa, even after you bring everybody back, you got injuries and other things happening behind the scenes, Do you still have the same laser focus to repeat as you did to capture the first title?”

Even though the Los Angeles Rams have a good chance of repeating if they bring their players back it will be difficult to go back-to-back just like it has been in the past for the other teams.
