Shaquille O’Neal had a few words to share and took a playful jab at newlyweds Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift. The power couple tied the knot earlier this month at Madison Square Garden.

It was reported that around 1,000 guests were invited, and several stars gathered to celebrate the big event. It was a long guest list that saw the likes of Selena Gomez, Bradley Cooper, Gigi Hadid, and Dakota Johnson just to name a few. Unfortunately, O’Neal was not able to make his way onto the guest list and was left uninvited.

During an interview, O’Neal was asked if he was invited to the grand wedding in New York. The Hall of Famer jokingly responded to the snub before giving the married couple his best wishes.

It was one of the biggest weddings of the year. Both Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are very big figures in their respective fields. Hollywood star Adam Sandler officiated the wedding of his two close friends.

The guest list had A-Listers from all worlds. The celebrities at the wedding included music artists, Hollywood stars, and even athletes from various sports. While he is one of the most recognizable athletes in the sports world and in the United States, it looks like he does not share much of a relationship with Kelce and Swift.

The two stars announced their engagement in August last year. It was a romantic garden proposal, and the photos shared caught eyeballs all over the world. Not a lot of details about the wedding have been disclosed but close family members did share a few details and it seemed like everyone had a wonderful time.

Shaquille O’Neal is a loved figure and is well known for his hilarious personality. He continues to be a hardworking individual even after retiring from professional athletics. Swift and Kelce have received several congratulatory messages from guests who could not attend, and the four-time NBA champion was one of them.

When asked if he had any congratulatory message for the married, O’Neal kept it short and sweet.

O’Neal did make an appearance on Kelce’s podcast with his brother Jason Kelce called the “New Heights” podcast. He celebrated Swift’s return of her master recordings. Unfortunately for the big man, it was still not enough to make it to the guest list.

While O’Neal was left uninvited, his close friend and Inside The NBA co-panelist Charles Barkley did get an invitation. The stars from the sports world saw Tom Brady, Alex Morgan, Rob Gronkowski, Andy Reid, and so many more. But it looked like there were no current or former stars from the NBA. However, it was revealed that Barkley did get an invite.

The former MVP revealed that he was invited to the wedding, but he politely declined as he had his reasons.

I don’t go to weddings or funerals. But I did get an invite and I politely declined because I thought it was going to be a crap show. I love Travis and I’ve met Taylor only one time but I did get an invite. I just want to hang out and play golf. But I appreciate the invitation. It was pretty special.
