Basketball great Shaquille O’Neal has spent countless years playing the larger-than-life character he loves people to identify him as.
The 54-year-old has a penchant for making things enjoyable for whoever he meets, and has generally tried his best to bring a smile to everyone’s face.
There have been occasions where ‘The Diesel’ does get upset. But he tries to do his best in whatever way he can. Over the years, he has amassed enough wealth to feed generations. But he would rather share it whenever he can.
If you ask her to marry you right now, I’ll buy the engagement ring… No, I ain’t going to listen. Do it right now… Get on your knee right now. I’ll buy the ring.

The two, clad in team merchandise, were munching on food when Michael started talking about something. After a while, the still munching Grace turned her eyes in different directions, stopped eating, and then, with a confused look on her face, asked him what he was talking about.
The crew of Inside the NBA brought them on to talk about their exchange, and that is when Shaquille O’Neal asked them what they were talking about at the game.

He first labeled them as husband and wife, to which Michael clarified that Grace was just his girlfriend. That is what prompted the former Los Angeles Lakers center to turn the tables.
From her reactions, it was evident that the woman was ready to get hitched and agree to O’Neal’s generous gift. But Michael had other ideas and tried to stop the four-time champion from giving her ideas.
Pacers’ fan gives Shaquille O’Neal and Inside the NBA crew a condition to agree to marry his girlfriend
After Shaquille O’Neal put Michael on the spot, it seemed as if Grace wanted her boyfriend to get on his knees and propose to her. But then, he placed a condition on the Inside the NBA crew.

If you guys agree to come to the wedding, we’ll do that.
Michael said
As soon as he said this, Shaquille O’Neal agreed to the demand. However, his colleagues, specifically Charles Barkley, had a question.
Well, you have got to tell us where the wedding is first, before we could do that.
Charles Barkley asked
Hearing this, Grace chimed in and stated that she had not agreed to the wedding yet. Therefore, any decisions about the location, or even inviting the Inside the NBA quartet, were in limbo.
However, in the end, she did ask the Hall of Famer Barkley, Shaquille O’Neal, Kenny Smith, and Ernie Johnson to clear their schedules for the wedding, whenever it happens.
Pacers’ fan nearly triggers another Charles Barkley San Antonio rant
While speaking to the two Indiana Pacers fans, the crew of Inside the NBA got around to talking about their relationship. At this point, Michael said this:
My general advice for everyone out there is, you gotta get a beautiful midwestern woman. They don’t really make those in San Antonio, but this one, she’s good stuff.
Michael said
Hearing this, host Ernie Johnson let out a, “Oh my God,” knowing what would happen if a certain Charles Barkley caught on to the San Antonio reference.

Luckily for them, he did not, as he chose to ignore it. Had he decided to toe the line, it is possible that the Round Mound of Rebound may have left Shaquille O’Neal having a near heart attack. Every time Barkley trolls the women of San Antonio, his colleague ends up losing his mind.
