Things have started to seem ugly between seasoned rappers Kendrick Lamar and Drake. And now, Shawn Michaels has barged into the scene as well. The WWE Hall of Famer has reacted to the mention of his legendary finisher, Sweet Chin Music, in Lamar’s latest diss track on Drake, Not Like Us. Michaels even offered the two men at loggerheads to settle their differences in NXT.

Not only that, The Heartbreak Kid is more than willing to mediate his services. While Shawn seems hellbent on staging an unprecedented crossover between the aforementioned names and WWE, it needs to be seen if K-Dot claps back at HBK. Speaking of Lamar and Drake, they’ve rechristened their vitriol for each other. It all ensued a week ago, with the Pulitzer Prize-winning artist laying waste to Drake after aiming consecutive disses at the Canadian rapper.

The Champagne Papi was quick to roll out a diss track of his own for Lamar. Drake claimed that one of his rival’s children was fathered by Dave Free, a childhood friend of Kendrick Lamar. Drake further alleged the latter of sweeping an instance of domestic abuse under the rug. Within an hour, Lamar counter-punched Drake’s accusations with “meet the grahams.”

It mentions Adonis, who’s Drake‘s son. It further addresses the rapper’s parents. Moreover, Lamar tried to voice the side of Drake where he doesn’t acknowledge that she has a preteen daughter. Exacerbating the matter, Oklama claimed that Drake often supports s*x offenders. By no means is the love lost between the two. It would be interesting to see if WWE makes something out of it, as teased by NXT’s creative lead, Shawn Michaels.

The Showstopper’s in-ring heyday is in the rearview mirror. However, there’s something that still excites Shawn Michaels about discussing the potential names he sees as his dream opponents. Last month, HBK caught up with Gorilla Position.

The 58-year-old was asked about who he’d like to wrestle if he ever comes out of retirement. The Sexy Boy named AJ Styles as the one. Michaels affirmed how he and AJ have shared a similar in-ring repertoire. There was a point in time when the two wrestlers were pegged to battle.

It so happened as the Royal Rumble in 2017 was held in San Antonio, which is Shawn’s hometown. Rumors ran rampant that he’d end up facing The Phenomenal One but it just didn’t materialize. Who knows if Mr. WrestleMania has some gas left in the tank?
