On this week’s Raw, Grayson Waller caused unsolicited troubles for his tag team partner Austin Theory by passing the buck of wrestling a mystery opponent on the show. He told general manager Adam Pearce that the former US Champion would sub in for him, knowing very well who was going to be the opponent. And guess what? It turned out to be Sheamus.
As soon as the Fella’s music hit, the packed house in Omaha popped big. After having a solid back-and-forth match, Sheamus emerged victorious in his return. Before suffering the wrath of a brogue kick, Theory, while in excruciating pain, questioned Waller’s call to put him in that predicament. But the Aussie wrestler didn’t pay heed to his tag partner.
That being said, after pinning Theory’s shoulders to the mat, Sheamus recorded his first singles win in WWE since beating Ludwig Kaiser on the January 13 edition of Raw. But where does The Celtic Warrior go from here? For the time being, he might remain entangled with the A-Town Down Under. After making light work of a man who beat John Cena at WrestleMania 39, The Great White could also have a brogue in store for Theory’s Aussie co-equal.
WWE programming is so much better when Sheamus is around.

Once this mini beef is settled, WWE can segue the former World Champion into a more substantial position up the card on the red brand. The 47-year-old could even test the waters of the phenomenon known as Jey Uso, the reigning World Heavyweight Champion. If booked correctly, this feud might benefit both the combatants.
Grayson Waller explains if there’s actually any beef between him and Austin Theory
Recently, Grayson Waller visited his homeland of Australia alongside Rhea Ripley. In one of the interviews with The West Perth, the 35-year-old opened up on the evident cracks between him and Austin Theory as a tag team. The Moment Maker went off on the host, saying he must’ve never had any real friendship in life.

To the audience, whom Waller considered wise enough to understand his rationale, he simply stated that friends do fight sometimes. The Aussie Icon said both of them want to be successful, but their mindsets are polar opposites of each other. Waller claimed that no matter how cocky he acts on screen, Theory has a natural connection with the fans and added that he wants to be the next John Cena.
Grayson Waller comments on the potential break-up between himself and Austin Theory:

"This guy (Theory) loves the fans, he wants to sign photos, he wants to be the next John Cena… I don't wanna be that. I couldn't care less about the little kids."pic.twitter.com/fJJ910buey
Meanwhile, the Australian wrestler affirmed that he couldn’t care less about pleasing the fans. In that sense, they’re different, and at times it can pull them apart, said Waller.
To conclude, the Sydney native mentioned that they do have good chemistry and hoped that the two could crawl their way back into the tag team title picture. WWE had started teasing that there’s a rift between them months ago. However, the company never actually pulled the trigger on breaking them as a duo.
What went down in the closing moments on Raw?
In one of the most chaotic Raw main events in recent memory, Jey Uso retained his world title against Seth Rollins. The latter’s henchman, Bron Breakker, interfered, causing a Sami Zayn ambush to unfold. The Canuck couldn’t contain the menace of the Steiner descendant for long and ate a spear.

Breakker hit one on Uso as well. It was almost over for The Yeet Master, but CM Punk crashed the party thereafter. The Best in the World caused the DQ, enabling Uso to retain. Punk wiped out both Rollins and Breakker on his own, with Zayn ultimately standing tall by his side to close the show.
However, after it went off air, Logan Paul sucker-punched Uso out of nowhere. The Maverick is expected to be next in line for the former Bloodline member’s world title reign. But the fans don’t seem invested in the two locking horns for the most coveted prize on the red brand.
