Colorado Buffaloes star quarterback Shedeur Sanders enjoys other forms of sports as well. Especially basketball, as he often ends up courtside to watch games. With their next game against 20-seed Kansas State Wildcats a week later, the probable top draft pick of next NFL season linked up with Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson and owner Mark Davis.

The place where they linked up was at the Michelob ULTRA Arena in Las Vegas, home of the Aces. It was the third game of their second-round playoff series against the New York Liberty. The Aces had to keep their three-peat hopes alive with a win tonight.

Which the team led by league MVP A’ja Wilson did in style. They dominated the game and forced the league-leading New York Liberty to give up in the third quarter. That keeps the Mark Davis-owned team firmly back into contention with two games to go.

Shedeur Sanders pulled up to this game, knowing what was at stake. He saw A’ja Wilson dominate the interior by herself and orchestrate play that saw the title favorite Liberty’ look like a shadow of themselves. He had to meet the superstar after watching the WNBA MVP dominate and did so as soon as the game ended.

The two first exchanged pleasantries and then the quarterback said something into Wilson’s ear that brought out a round of laughter. A fan of basketball, he makes it to games whenever he has the time. Whether he has the time to stick around for Game 4 on October 6th is unknown.

Shedeur Sanders stood beside Mark Davis before meeting A’ja Wilson. The Las Vegas Raiders owner is also the owner of the two-time champion Las Vegas Aces. Another video showed the first interaction between the college star and the NFL franchise owner. It shows the two exchanging pleasantries.

His father Deion Sanders‘ words have already sparked interest when suggesting that Shedeur Sanders might be picked by a team of their choosing. It will not be a surprise if this meeting with Davis sparks another round of rumors.

The Las Vegas Raiders are a team poised to draft a top-ranked QB in the next draft. They wanted to do it this time, but all their possible prospects were already selected by then.
