New York Giants GM Joe Schoen has been at the top of football fans’ discussions after the way he let go of now former QB Daniel Jones. The unceremonious exit saw fans and analysts calling for the owner to fire Schoen as well. However, he is still very much in the job right now, with Shedeur Sanders‘ name being linked repeatedly to the New York organization.
But father and Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders has made it clear that he will interfere if he felt his son was not going to the right organization. That usually means playing for a franchise that has either the market to be successful outside of football, or a decent team with which he can win soon.
The New York Giants have lost some crucial players because of Schoen’s decisions to not pay them. However, they are in the Big Apple and if they continue to draft well, they could build a capable team. The combination of the two makes the team in blue a potential landing spot.

Deion Sanders Jr. posted a video of the Buffaloes practice session earlier where Joe Schoen and some of his staff were present. They were greeted by Prime Time himself and were seen talking with each other. If anything, this could be proof that they are interested in Shedeur Sanders.
Deion Sanders, looking calm and with a smile on his face, could suggest that he is happy the New York Giants are considering picking his son. They are currently bottom of the league and their remaining schedule suggests they will stay there. Which means, if they want Sanders, he might go No.1 overall.
Shedeur Sanders a good fit for the New York Giants?
There are three teams at the bottom of the NFL standings with six weeks of games remaining. Out of them, the Jacksonville Jaguars have Trevor Lawrence. The Las Vegas Raiders have been eyeing the Colorado Buffaloes QB for some time.

He has met owner Mark Davis at a WNBA game and has had scouts visit his games quite often. Vegas is also a prime market for someone like Sanders, who could be the bona fide superstar of that state. The team is also on the rise and has some intriguing young pieces that can help Sanders succeed.
But the Giants are an even bigger market for Shedeur Sanders. New York brings access to the celebrity life which the young star has already shown a lot of interest in. Along with that comes access to the who’s who of the entertainment world.
Couple that with the likes of Malik Nabers and an improving offensive line along with that defense, and the 22-year-old might find it intriguing. Both the Raiders and the Giants are prospective landing spots. Now Prime Time might have to weigh in the pros and cons and call the shots.
