Other than being a professional boxer, Devin Haney is a family man and is married to Instagram model Leena Sayed. The couple always looked perfect together and are expecting a baby in the future. However, recent developments about Leena’s past relationship with rapper Young Thug have started a new controversy.

Recently, a jail conversation from 2022 between Thug and Sayed has gone viral on the internet. In the 15-minute video, both individuals can be seen very emotional as they talk about their separation. Thug was heard asking Devin Haney’s wife to move on and find love with someone else. 

Given the legal complications of that time, the rapper wanted Sayed to stay away from him, but she wasn’t ready for it. In the video, the New York-born woman burst into tears and revealed how much she loves Young Thug. “I don’t like anyone…I want you,” Sayed said, filled with emotions. 

The raw vulnerability of the moment was undeniable, with both visibly affected. Thug looked away from the camera, wiping his face as he tried to hold back tears. For many fans, watching the video was weird, as both Thug and Sayed are in different long-term relationships. In the comments, many either mocked or sympathized with Haney given the controversy.

Devin Haney gets roasted by former rival 

This year has been particularly challenging for Devin Haney. The former super lightweight champion faced a significant setback after his high-profile bout with Ryan Garcia. Although the initial loss was overturned due to Garcia’s positive PED test, Haney endured relentless trolling and public ridicule. Adding to his troubles, this new viral video involving his wife and rapper Young Thug has sparked further controversy, compounding an already difficult year.

Since their fight, Garcia has been frequently making fun of Haney on social media platforms. Irrespective of his own controversies, Garcia never shies away from throwing random shade at his opponent. In a recent tweet, ‘KingRy’ called Haney his son and posted a hilarious AI-generated image.
