It is not yet clear if the decorated gymnast will compete in another Olympics. Interestingly, in a conversation with NBC’s TODAY, Biles revealed plans for the 2028 Olympics.

Simone Biles spoke to Hoda Kotb on the show and talked about her future in sports and with her husband, Jonathan Owens. She admitted looking forward to motherhood in the near future. In turn, she spilled having plans to start a family with Owens after both individuals accomplished their set goals. Hoda Kotb asked her if she was saying goodbye to something she loved. The gymnast had a proper answer.

You know never say never. The next Olympics is on home turf, so you just never know.

With everybody’s attention on Biles for her next move with gymnastics, the Olympian also shared her thoughts on the question. Biles tweeted that people really needed to stop asking athletes about their next move after they had won a medal at the Olympics. Along with that, she gave key advice to the fans. She asked the people to soak up the moment they’ve worked their whole lives for.

With that, there’s no telling what the future holds for Simone Biles and Team USA along with that. However, Biles will forever be in the history books as the most decorated gymnast. If she does not return for the 2028 Olympics, it will remain a noteworthy absence for Team USA.

Simone Biles displeased about the ‘weird’ crowd

Simone Biles shared about the weird atmosphere at the Balance Beam Finals at the Paris Olympics. Not only her, but several other gymnasts and coaches spoke up on the issue. In a post-match interview, Biles disclosed that the crowd started making shushing noises at each other when she was performing.

The 27-year-old gymnast preferred noisy environments as she became accustomed to them while practicing. The gymnasts also asked for background music while performing, but that did not happen. Four out of eight gymnasts fell off the beam, saying goodbye to an Olympic medal.

The Balance Beam has always been one of the most difficult gymnastic events. The gymnasts are asked to land a series of high-flying twists and leaps on a 10 cm wide wooden beam. To add to that difficulty, the eerily quiet crowd definitely affected the gymnasts’ performances. As such, Biles condemned their actions.
