Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz have once again scheduled the clash in the Six Kings Slam final. They were the ones who played the finals in the first edition of the exhibition event in Riyadh, with Sinner taking home the $6 million prize money with a three-set win.
Six Kings Slam started on October 15th and saw three players make their debut. Alexander Zverev lost to Taylor Fritz in the quarterfinals, while Stefanos Tsitsipas lost to the defending champion. But despite their exit, Zverev and Tsitsipas claimed $1.5 million each as participation fees.
After beating Sascha, Fritz suffered a straight-set defeat in the semifinals to Alcaraz, who had received a first-round bye. Novak Djokovic also received the first-round bye, and in the semifinals, he once again failed to go past Sinner. The Serb was defeated in the semifinals of last year’s Six Kings Slam by Sinner in three sets.
Despite the losses, Fritz and Djokovic will still be playing further, because there’s also a third-place match scheduled to take place on October 18. On October 17, no match will be held due to an ATP rule that stops players from competing for three consecutive days in an exhibition event.

Jannik Sinner vs. Carlos Alcaraz: Match Preview
Before arriving in Riyadh, Jannik Sinner participated in the Shanghai Masters, and he played there as the defending champion. But his title defense ended in disappointment as cramps forced him to give the walkover to Tallon Griekspoor in the third round.

Sinner has so far lifted three titles from seven finals, two of which were the Australian Open and Wimbledon. Carlos Alcaraz was the reason behind his defeat in the remaining four finals, including at the French Open and the US Open. Before Shanghai, the four-time Grand Slam champion swept past Learner Tien to clinch his second China Open title.
Alcaraz is the winner of eight trophies from 10 finals this season. The couple of defeats that he suffered were at the hands of Sinner and Holger Rune at Wimbledon and the Barcelona Open, respectively.
The six-time Grand Slam champion has lifted three Masters 1000s (Monte Carlo Masters, Italian Open, and Cincinnati Masters) and three ATP 500s (Rotterdam Open, Queen’s Club Championships, and the Japan Open). When he made his debut at the Tokyo event, the 22-year-old injured his ankle, which eventually forced him to withdraw from the Shanghai Masters.
Jannik Sinner vs. Carlos Alcaraz: Match Prediction
Alcaraz and Sinner have played a total of 31 finals and claimed 23 titles since 2024. Eight of these titles were the Grand Slam ones.

Last year, even though he lost all his official matches to Alcaraz, the Italian ace ended the season as the most successful player, winning eight official trophies from nine finals. The lone defeat was to Alcaraz at the China Open.
This year, Alcaraz has achieved the most on the ATP Tour. Since 2024, Alcaraz has met Sinner eight times and won six of those matches, losing only at Wimbledon.
In the overall head-to-head record, Alcaraz leads 10-5. This year, they faced each other at the Italian Open, French Open, Wimbledon, Cincinnati Masters, and the US Open. In Cincinnati, the 24-year-old gave him the walkover due to an illness. Even though it’s hard to predict the outcome whenever the two face each other, Alcaraz will have a slight edge because of his head-to-head record.
Match Prediction: Carlos Alcaraz to win in three sets.
