A disturbing incident recently occurred at a Ring of Honor show taping. The actions of an audience member led to a wrestler getting upset, which annoyed the officiating referee and other audience members present at the show. The incident took place during Skye Blue‘s match at the taping and has infuriated the wrestling world. 

The situation began when Skye Blue entered the ring for her match for the taping. An audience member sitting in the front row began making vulgar comments about the female wrestler. He commented on her body and called her names such as ‘baby girl.’ The man apparently kept up this egregious behavior throughout the entire match and would not stop.

Several other audience members continuously tried to silence the man. However, he would not listen and continued the disgusting act. AEW referee Aubrey Edwards was assigned as the referee for that particular match. When the match ended, she screamed for security to kick him out of the arena.

Both AEW and local arena security got involved in the matter. The man put up a fight against the security, and more people had to be called in. The audience member was also accompanied by a child. After the match, the former House of Black member rushed out of the ring, seeming highly upset by this situation.

Fans infuriated after audience member passes inappropriate comments at Skye Blue

As expected, this situation caused massive outrage. The wrestling world called for strict action against the person in question. They called for him to be banned from all ROH, AEW, and perhaps all wrestling shows in the future. They felt sorry for the accompanying kid, who had to go through so much because of the vile behavior shown by his alleged parent.

Many criticized both the AEW and arena security for letting this incident go on for so long in the first place. As per fans, the person in question should have been escorted out as soon as he started with such repugnant behavior. Moreover, security should not have waited for Aubrey Edwards to make the call before taking action.

Netizens did appreciate the female referee for trying to handle the situation when other officiating members wouldn’t. Additionally, they showed their love and support for Skye Blue, who had to go through such a situation even in today’s modern world.
